my mock draftity draft.

this is more so what I wish we would do rather than what I think we'll do.

Trade our 1st for St.Louis' two firsts, read a thread that through out that idea hypothetically and though "hell, I'd like it"

1st - DeAndre Hopkins, WR

1st-Jonathan Cooper, G/Warmack, G or Warford, G if both Warmack and Cooper are gone.

2nd - Gavin Escobar, TE

4th- Akeem Spence, DT

5th - Ricky Wagner, OT

6th - Earl Wolff, S

*EDITED VERSION that's a little more on the plausible side.*

Trade our 1st for the Ram's 16th Overall and their second.

1st - DeAndre Hopkins, WR

2nd - Larry Warford, G/BPA G

2nd - Gavin Escobar, TE

4th- Akeem Spence, DT

5th - Ricky Wagner, OT

6th - Earl Wolff, S

the end.

They wont trade 2 first to go 2 spots down. F for crappy unreasonable trade possibilities.

You mean 2 spots up?

And like I said, it was based on some hypothetical someone threw out in another forum (Ram's trading up to nab Austin, which is unlikely but not in the realm of 'crappy unreasonable') that I liked the idea of.

You are right, I would love it if it happened, but come on, gotta be somewhat reasonable.

Granted, it is highly unlikely. I guess the more reasonable would be trading our first for one of theirs, and their second.

Then just nab Warford with the extra second, or BPA G. Still get Nuke in the 1st.

Should have called it my "dream draft" instead, aha.

    • I know teams have been selling out to stop the run, but Ricos kind of fallen off a cliff.. not sure if hes hurt or just worn down but even when theres a hole he doesnt look anything like he did those few weeks prior.
    • nah, that's basically saying people can't call a spade a spade.  Which is crazy.  89 is not a good dude.  He might have done a couple good things but it will never erase what he has proven to be in front of the world.  I tell my kid all the time not to view celebrity athletes as anything but people that play a sport well.  Lot of garbage humans play on Sunday.   And you have no clue who the good guys actually are.  PR in today's world is also powerful.  There was a window when Deshawn Watson checked every good guy box that could ever existed from the public's perspective.
    • Some folks say it's because teams are playing more shell defenses preventing more longer passes.  The analytics folks would rather you pass for 7 years every down.  As you state, the crop of QBs is mixed as far as quality. I think when you put it all together, it's a recipe for less passing yards.
