Panthers deal approved unanimously

SCP is a young man?

I've been picturing someone in there 60's

He's younger than me...ergo, he receives the "young man" moniker.

Don't let the SCP avatar fool ya.

Considering his past, his knees and back prolly feel like a man of 60, but he is no where near 60.

His curmudgeony ways (which I agree with) about outsiders filling our stadium makes him seem old.

Hell, SCP defend yourself...I am old and beginning to ramble.....

@CBJspanberg: JJR: 'Best tether you've got is me. If you want a tether say a prayer for me.' Foxx offers oatmeal. #cltcc

This was a funny moment, some idiot showed up in a Pat Tillman jersey to try and explain why the Panthers should get public money while using the new Cornhuskers stadium as an example because no tax money was used... wonder if it ever occurred to him that Nebraska is a state-owned institution so funds used to build the new stadium were public money, LOL

Then there was some inbred looking kid who said he was a college student and couldn't afford to go to games so why should his tax money be used to support the Panthers... LOL, it's called paying your dues buddy - I could barely afford to eat when I was in college so keep your head down and get your degree and maybe after years of busting your ass in the workforce you'll earn enough discretionary income to afford NFL tickets.

If this dumbass couldn't afford 40-50 bucks for a game or two a year, why'd he waste the money driving to a city counsel meeting, or wasting the time sitting in there when he should be working? If you can't afford 50 bucks, you should be working or sleeping honestly.

Typical welfare kid, will complain all day, and not do crap about it.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
