"Remember Arizona" Banner for Training Camp...

Well, P55 had a great (more affordable) idea.

We already have $100.00 donated to build a banner for the team to be displayed at Training Camp that reads;

Remember Arizona

The banner will be signed by anyone who puts their money where there mouth is, and then taken to TC by volunteers (TBD) each day and hung on the fence.

We will need volunteers to coordinate handing it off each day to ensure it IS at TC, and folks to help pay for it.

I know someone here makes banners for a living, maybe we can get a discount :) ?????

if your in, just say so, and what you are willing to contribute.

Thanks folks for wanting to make a difference!!!!

I think the banner should be signed by fans at TC and then donated to the Panthers at the end for them to do what they wish(or give it to a fan with front row seats CONNIE :) to hang on the fence :) at games)

I've always found it better to focus on your goals and future accomplishments rather than your past defeats. But hey, do whatever you guys want.

football is a game of emotion. The little things matter.

If you dont want to support it, then fine, its your choice.

Yeah cause they will forget about that game if you dont do that.

Guys if we made a remember seattle banner for the 2006 training camp we would have made the super bowl instead of going 8-8.

I am so sick of the negativity some of you "fans" spread.

Well, I'm not equating the two. But we fly American flags on Memorial day and Veterans day and now on Patriots day. On Pearl Harbor day, you know I could list more. Never forget! And sometimes you need a reminder. The coaches spewing it day after day could start to fall on deaf ears. But if the fans are reminding you everyday. Well that could hit home a little harder.

Ummm... yeah, I understand it's for motivation. I wasn't thinking you just wanted to bring it up to relive happy times or something.

Just saying I don't think the best motivation is constantly harping on that one time you sucked terribly. But go ahead with your banner or whatever.

But holding up a banner of a game we got embarrased in isnt negative?

do you really think that banner would help us win more games?

      First off, we haven't been ignoring the defense. We have drafted several defensive players, but, perhaps more importantly, we have added good pieces in free agency. Secondly, the offense was still kinda bad (27th or so depending where you look at). You can't just say we can't pick an offensive guy while acknowledging that the offense wasn't good. Everything is on the table. Like I said above, it seems kind of counterproductive to say that we shouldn't draft an offensive player high unless they're at certain positions. The offense was mediocre at best. Sure, we had an uncanny knack to win some close games at opportune times, but the offense wasn't really good. To me, it makes little sense to put limitations on who/what we should draft when we need an upgrade at so many positions. What you look at is trying to get the best value--bang for your buck so to speak--and that's the way it should be. D-Mo has used FA to set up the draft in order not to be pigeonholed into anything, and that's the way that it should be.

      Hubert has plenty of money. I don't hate the guy. I think he a legit good guy. This is Ron Rivera all over again for me. It's just very obvious a coaching change is needed and it audka we gottaboart ways with a good guy and I'd much rather it work out but the same issues appearing again and again year after year are clearly shouting what needs to happen. With that said, if we hire Todd Golden, that's it. I'm out. I'd greatly prefer to just keep getting disappointed by Hubert. I can at least stand to root for that.
