I feel ya man. I see both sides of the story. i think he was a reach too but im excited about his potential now that we have him

If he can fill in situationally/rotationally for a year or two and there is the upside that people keep talking about then it's a fine pick. 4th rounders are and down are throw aways anyway.

But i would be much more happy if we could get a upgrade at G in FA

First it seemed that most picks were head scratchers. BUT, when you look at all the picks you can say that ALL of them will be starters. Getting five starters in one draft is just awesome. Plus, UFDA S Robert Lester could become a starter as well. I can´t remember of a better draft in our history even not all needs were adressed. I give it an A.

Outside of the Capt. Obvious pick that heads would've been called for if it had NOT occurred in the first round, I'm concerned with how this season is going to go. We have, according to sports channels/websites, the most difficult schedule in the league and we didn't address some obvious holes? I understand why you go with LB because Beason's last two seasons he hasn't been able to complete, but I hope some secondary shows up.

What did I expect before this draft?

Round 1 starter

Round 2 starter

We didn't have a round three, so our round 4,5,6, I didn't expect starters (as nobody should).

What did we do? We just had a MAJOR upgrade on one of our weakest spots. We will have an absolute dominant front 7 on defense. Do I like that? Hell yea. This won't give Cam extra weapons, but will give him extra opportunity.

What did we do with our later round picks?

- Round 4, Edmund Kugbila: yea I was suprised they picked him (hell I would have drafted Patton), but look at it this way: extra depth at OL, major upside on this guy and has the possibility to become a better play than some of the more 'safer' picks that even wouldn't be starters anyway.

- Round 5, Klein: depth at LB, don't say we didn't need that with our injury history over there. Great value.

- Round 6, Barner: great value, future replacement?

Is this sexy? No. But as history has proven, even the most sexy draft can turn out ugly fast. I like it, think we did a great job and grade it B+.

I do expect an OL-veteran signing, we still need improvement there before the season starts.
