THE DT AND MLB CURSE IS NOW GONE

I didn't know that we had a DT and MLB curse. I know that the most dominate DT we've had since Jenkins has been Dwan Edwards and of course our best MLB since Morgan is Beason. Everyone harps on Beason injuries but I don't recall Beason being injured except the last 2 yrs. And I certainly wouldn't call the DT position A curse. I'd call it poor selections. We don't want bring any curses in our house!

This article is straight BS... Were we cursed at WR position with only three being productive: Smith, Muhammad and LaFell? Were we cursed at RB after Fred Lane from Lane College? Were we cursed at QB position when we had to bring Vinny back? NO....we aren't cursed at any position. We've just been poorly coached and poorly managed!

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
