Got a grilling book about 2 months ago. New ideas on grilling veggies I hadn't thought about and even has a section on making desserts on the grill. Deee lish.

Anybody got some experimental stuff for grill season?

not tried granny apples yet. when i do some of those desserts i will share.  grilled apple cobbler, angel food cake smores, grilled pineapple.

im working on a pstall concoction where you scoop out some of a sweet potato, add some good stuff and grill that and create some sweet potato finger food type stuff.

plus all the stuff is healthy and has all the vitamins and junk you get. yes, red meat is IN the book. you think im stupid??

I also do those big portabellas, zucchini, and some red pepper on the grill. marinate htem in balsamic vinegar. melt some munster  on them. slice the mushrooms and put it on a pita

totally agree on mushrooms. did some on sun. love that flavor.

i don't usually marinate the mushrooms but thats a good idea.

I always like to throw some peaches on the grill if I'm grilling pork chops, maybe fix up a peach BBQ sauce to go with it.  Tend to just grill the usual veggies like onions, mushrooms, squash, zucchini, and peppers, but fruits are surprisingly great grilled.

    • Smitty carrying that tank around...can't stay young forever.
    • While I agree with you in spirit my gut and my heart says I'm not falling for this again until I see consistent results across the entire upcoming season. Then I'll breathe a sigh of relief and truly feel better about the future.
    • After some time to process and also in light of other small markets being successful and not requiring top overall picks to compete. This years finals looming large. While I readily acknowledge the league office clearly despises our franchise and has absolutely no qualms about us getting the short end of any stick in the draft lottery. The Hornets may just be doomed regardless due to their own mismanagement and inability to draft and develop legitimate playoff worthy talent. And we seemingly always pick the wrong player in the draft. I mean at this point we can even take a hard look at the 2020 draft and someone like Haliburton going pick 12 while Ball went 3rd. Did we draft the wrong guy or are we just that inept at any level of talent development or is it a mixture of both? Looks the latter right now.
