Weinke Credited With Helping Timmy T

Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Chris Weinke, who worked with The Golden Calf of Bristol at IMG Academy in Florida, said Monday that The Golden Calf of Bristol now is throwing with "great accuracy, great velocity" after fixing a major foot alignment flaw.

"Do I think he can play the quarterback position in the NFL? Yeah, no question," Weinke told USA Today. "Like I told Tim when I found out that he signed, 'You're locked and loaded, ready to go.'"

Also, somehow Newton got drug into the article...

As Cam Newton and Jake Locker can attest, maintaining proper footwork in the face of defensive pressure is an ongoing battle. Forgive our skepticism that the latest fix will be more than temporary for the owner of the lowest completion percentage among active quarterbacks.

I almost want to delete this thread because of The Golden Calf of Bristol auto-correct...

What the f*ck is The Golden Calf of Bristol?

Sunday School?  Church of any type here in the US?  Television?

Come on CP8789?  The 10 commandments?  Moses?  Golden calf?

None of this ringing a bell?

Okay, I put it together now... It would have been easier if you just told me that the first time.

didn't your mom tell you that you will learn things if you do them yourselves.....we could have just "told" you, but we would not be helping you out as much.....lol

    • This guy pre-draft was saying he could take or leave football, and he seems to have been playing with that mentality ever since lol.
    • Agreed, another safety would be nice. Bud Clark, TCU, is one I would like to see us take a flyer on later in the draft, if he stays healthy and we don't take someone earlier. I just really hope we draft a solid C this year. Tired of seeing us cycle through average to below average players in that area.
    • Bryce doesn't like throwing into the middle of the field unless the play broke down or it's set up to give him a passing lane.  So because of this issue, most of the passing offense has to be outside the numbers towards the boundary. So you see him throw a lot of dump offs, swing routes, short side out routes, comebacks or deep balls outside the numbers using the boundary as protection of an interception.    Pretty easy for a NFL defense to see this and scheme against it.  All you have to do is run a shell cover 2 deep dime, LB plays a hook underneath, take the flat away with a blitz/flat zone option for the two inside DB's, outside two DB's play hook zone underneath and carry anything deep.    Pretty much what NO ran to take away Rico while also limiting What Bryce can do as well.
