There is no history between the Patriots and Andrew Luck. It was a QB fueled rivalry and now half of it left with another team. I couldn't give a crap if those two teams squared up now.

You ever been to BofA? It's a great stadium that gets overrun by every opposing fanbase outside of the Jags. Pick a team and they dominate our stadium. Even the Bengals in 2010 had 30% of our stadium. Last year the Giants took over our place. Bills? Same thing. It's one of the worst venues in all of pro sports for giving up seats to the opposition. Hands down.

Charlotte as a sports town is a place that started with spirit that stretched for miles when the Panthers came to town, but it slowly dwindled as the team never became consistent. However, that spirit has always and will always come back when fans have something to cheer for. When there is consistency, as there looks to be in the near future, Panther fans will become more spirited even in losses.

 

Of course a journalist is going to say something like that because he, unfortunately, isn't necessarily completely incorrect. The same can be said when comparing what we had when the Hornets were in town and comparing it to the former Bobcats. CONSISTENCY.

That was my point, the Hornets consistently had all star players/superstars on the team and even in bad times they were consistently fun to watch and support. I was comparing that to the Horn-cats

You should see the Dolphins stadium when they play the Jets, Giants or Pats.  Makes BofA look like Heinz field during the playoffs.

I lived in Miami from 2001-2005 and attended 4-5 games a year. BofA has it beat by a long shot. My job has afforded me the opportunity to attend games in various sports at just about every pro stadium in America, I have never seen anything like BofA when it comes to getting taken over.

Wow, that is bad. I guess the only games I have been to in Carolina were the 2nd rate teams might have somethibg to do with it. During the jets dolphins game I thought I was in new jersey.

Don't get me wrong, the Jets and Pats fill up miami's stadium. But in BofA it doesn't seem to matter the team. I had Marlins season tickets for 4 years and they would get invaded but that's just because only about 5K Marlins fans attended the games.

whelp the NFL and CBS reserved a late afternoon game spot for them last season and assigned basically every major tv market in the eastern united states to it so i guess that means they think nobody cares

I went to the Falcons and Bucs game Cam's rookie year and it wasn't that bad at all, while there were some Bucs and Falcons fans there it wasn't anywhere near "taken over".  Last year's Falcons game though it was terrible.  Why the difference?
