"Root Down" came on Sirius the other day while I was in the car with my wife (who is four years my younger - 31 vs. 27). She said "Did anyone actually like the Beastie Boys? Seriously, who ACTUALLY liked them in practice and not just in theory?" I was shocked. We were at a stoplight. I got out, walked around the car, and opened her door and motioned for her to get out. We had just pulled out of the garage from our condo building and I knew the guy in the car behind us at the stoplight. He honked at me, half-joking, rolled down his window to say "WTF?" I said "She said the Beastie Boys suck..." and before I could finish my sentence my neighbor yells "OH HELL NO! GET THE FUG OUT THE CAR, AMY!"

 

Now that I've met my "great story...yeah not really" quota for the day, I'll go back to work.
