Although the Panthers have used the combination of black jerseys, black pants and blue socks just once in franchise history, that combination won NFL.com’s “Greatest Uniform in NFL History’’ contest. Equipment manager Jackie Miles told Scott Fowler the team plans to wear that combination at least five times this year.

We have 5 games scheduled with black jerseys. Black pants is a game day decision. We will probably see the all blacks 2 times max.

That's actually a misquote. The article in the observer says that we're wearing the black jerseys 5 times and we'll wear the black pants combo at least once but as many as five times. So it could be once or it could be five.

I'd love an all black helmet. The blue and silver is my favorite combo followed by the black on black but if we added a black helmet to that it would be so damn intimidating

Well I'm glad all of that clicking counts for something. I know it doesn't matter but I'd still love to see straight up black/electric blue helmets, jersey, pants.
