filled again!  Thanks!

Also, regarding the poll on standard scoring or fractional scoring.  Right now it is 3-2 for fractional and I'm going to leave the poll up until the end of the Steeler game.  So if you care about that (and you are a team owner) vote.

In case of a tie I'm leaving it at standard.

wait what is fractional scoring? like .5 ppr or something? (if thats the case, my vote for scoring would be for a PPR league, those are more fun IMO)

example of fractional versus standard scoring,  RB gets 1 point for every 10 yards and ends up with 109 yards

in standard scoring he gets 10 points

in fractional scoring he gets 10.9 points

The fractions add up.  Those that like fractional scoring do not want to see wasted points.  They also like the fact that tie games are pretty much eliminated.

Those that don't like fractional scoring appreciate the fact that you can be watching a game, see your guy has 109 and then watch the coach pull him from the final series and you can vent all your fantasy frustration on that stupid ass coach that screwed you over.  They also appreciate that an occasional tie game in the regular season can really make the standings interesting.

This is not a PPR league and that isn't going to change this late in the game.

No PPR?  :(

it's not a dictatorship so I'll post a poll.

usually on money leagues everyone wants basic scoring.  PPR might be fun this year to keep the RB's from dominating but it has been non PPR since it started.

will have to make a call quickly because it really does affect draft strategy.

~ edit -- only one poll at a time.  as soon as game ends tonight I will throw up new poll.  But to add PPR I think it only fair if we get a lot closer to half the teams or more than the pathetic 3-2 vote on standard/fractional!  :)

I agree I wouldn't add PPR unless a good majority wanted it.

Personally I've never done PPR or even researched a draft strategy for a PPR league.  I imagine that is how most people are too.

    • And, yes, I've been a slow boil, but watching continually watching shitty displays of football for weeks has me frustrated.
    • Bryce just didn't maximize Hunter Renfrow's skills. ***rant incoming*** But this isn't just about Bryce Young mistiming passes to Renfrow so bad that he's going to get Renfrow killed or hurt, this is also about incompetentence by Dave Canales. Renfrow can still play. He's putting DBs in a blender out there---making them play twister at the top of routes to keep up with him, and dumb Dave has the nerve to cut him. How about putting Hunter in the best position to help the damned offense by appreciating his skill set, DC? You're letting Bryce's apparent inability to make an accurate throw, or at least his timidity to push the ball down the damned field cloud your judgment and miscalculate talent---or maybe just miss on talent just as much as Bryce misses passes due to playing pussified football. It's fúcking unacceptable.  Speaking of misjudgment, I don't know if it's Dan Morgan or Canales, but Eijiro Evero is not the business at DC. I have said a few times that his scheme is not conducive to run-stopping efficiency. Hell, and after watching some clips of plays, now I absolutely know why. The gaps are at least half open before the play even fúcking starts. You are setting the opposition's RBs up for success with too much damned space at the line and in the second level. If our guys are taken out in these areas---at the line and in the second level---then the defense is screwed because it must rely on the safeties to cover too much ground to make the tackle. At least put Ransom in who is motivated to seek and destroy if you're going to effectively leave the safeties on an island.  And speaking of rookies, get our two new defensive ends more snaps to see if we can't generate more of a pass rush. For all the good the continued sorry display of defense that you're putting out for fan's to see (Ejiro, Dave and Dan), you may as well get the rookies generously involved. Fúck that money we gave second-rate (maybe second-rate) vets, we need a damned spark getting after the QB. Watch it, it's just another breakdown of the sh¡t we were subjected to last week. I say this with all respect: Fúck you, Dave! Fúck you, Dan! Learn how to run a fúcking franchise. Maximize the players, regardless of what you think you're supposed to do by the book. Cut the dead weight before another season is lost and fans lose interest in September. EE is "Ew!" Or for emphasis "EEw!" /end rant
    • But nobody is saying he is a good deep ball passer.  But the facts are since he's returned from his benching, he has been throwing downfield.  Whether you want to credit the scheme, Bryce himself, or whatever, he has been pushing it deep.  Not to any positive results mind you, but it has been happening.
