7-26-13 Camp Thread

i like it when people complain about threads being derailed by three posts and then spend seventy posts explaining how annoying it is

anyway thanks to everyone who updated this thread

Here's a quick test...

Go through the thread and find any posts where Frash actually talked about football (as opposed to the number made saying something pissy because I said the joke was old).

While you're at it, take a moment to count the number of actual football discussion posts I wrote.

Come back after that and tell me who's derailing.

Are we actually throwing race into the discussion now?

Seriously?  (sheesh)

Panthers.com put up a video with some footage, quick note was that I'm pretty sure silatolu changed to #66 and he pancaked star pretty bad in pass pro. Deangelo was running well too

Checked the roster.  You're right.  61 now belongs to an undrafted guy (Wes Horton).

Gonna go check out the vid :)

Good to see Jim Skipper coaching Williams and Stewart in that clip.

Star got himself a little off balance and Silatolu got good leverage on him in that drill.  One of those things they'll coach him up on.  Good for Amini though.

Luke stepped in front of Greg Olsen on that pick.  The ball was just a tad underthrown (another sign that it's early in the process).

Liked Rivera urging the young guys to go talk to the fans.

Got a chuckle from the guy saying "don't edit me out"

Pretty cool video overall :)

I think you're the only one who's pissy because no one else found this joke so disruptive that they were willing to derail a thread single-handedly, as part of some hare-brained crusading protest against a forum punchline. You made the initial response, I defended my stance, and you accuse me of not contributing because I'm not analyzing Luke Kuechly's arms.

Oh yea and keep spamming that same  over and over it's really the best you've got to offer these days on the forum anyway

Didnt look that bad imo. It was just a veteran overpowering a rookie.

Im glad that these two will be able to grow together competing with one another in practices. This will benefit both of them in their careers. TONGAN!

Nice video. I felt kinda bad I didn't recognize the two players they interviewed for longer segments.... goes to look up roster photos.

Fake tweets in a thread designed for real ones is a bit annoying. I have twitter/instagram and follow most of these guys but I like the football commentary on here so I prefer to read a thread like this.

I find the joke old and over played as well; which doesn't mean it can't be funny at the right time. This being a tweet-centric and more serious toned thread than the typical offseason fodder though makes the joke a bit out of place.

Also, I'd be careful before I drive Mr. Scot out of here because people want to spam gifs, memes, and canned Huddle jokes. His football commentary is some of the best/grounded/informative and there's not many Huddlers who can give you that.
