Charlotte Still The Leader For Jamison

While chasing a ring in a different city is still an option for Jamison, the Charlotte Bobcats seem to be the frontrunner to sign him at this point. Jamison grew up in Charlotte and is interested in returning home and living year-round with his four children. He flirted with the Bobcats last offseason for this very reason, and may decide to join them now. While he would most likely have to endure a losing season, he’d get to play a large role and be one of the team’s veteran leaders alongside Al Jefferson and Ben Gordon as well as his former teammates Ramon Sessions and Brendan Haywood. This news makes you think that?

Yeah we are signing veteran players (Jefferson/Jamison/Hendo), we must be trying to win right? If we planned on tanking I don't signing Jefferson/Hendo is gonna help the cause.

I dont care at this point. I dont say Jamison getting huge minutes anyway. Probably bring him in for some locker room leadership and experience to help the young guys.

 

 

He'd probably get 15-20 minutes a game, he'd be stealing minutes away from McRoberts.

As long as he knows his role, your not coming home to be the star, your not at Providence anymore. 10-15 mins off the bench as a stretch 4 is alright with me, play him with McRoberts, but do not let him steal McRoberts minutes.

Combining the past two years we are one of the worst teams in NBA History... I wouldn't say we're good.

I didnt mean it like that. I just feel like we don't need a aged Jamison to take away minutes from the pf and sf spot with Taylor mkg zeller mcbob and adrien. So yeah we are good at that position.

      Eh idk about this. He’s a 100 point player in the toughest market in hockey. Not to mention, guys seem to play more freely once they leave Toronto. I’d be willing to bet that Marner could unlock Svechnikov. I’d go hard after both Marner and Bennett in the offseason.

      I’m not going to sit here and say he played “amazing” in this game against the Eagles, but you’re selling this performance short. Stats do not tell the whole story here.  If Leggette doesn’t drop that late 32 yard pass, Bryce ends up with 223 yards and 2TDs and doesn’t end up with 2 additional incompletions after that drop trying to force things to the end zone at the end of the game. So that’s be 20-32 instead of 19-34, good for a 62.5% completion percentage. His YOA would be 6.96 and his QB rating would have been 91.2. And the story everyone is talking about after the game is how Bryce led a game winning drive to beat one of the best teams in the league, the team we did not know at the time would become Super Bowl champions.  But none of that happened all because of an awful drop by Leggette, something totally out of Bryce’s control. Bryce played well that game.
