If they think we follow the NFL for TomBrady they're sadly mistaken. Nobody's in awe of that guy. Throwing a football is not that impressive. Throwing a football while breaking a few tackle, now that's impressive.

If having the best TD/INT ratio in NFL history sans Rodgers is not impressive then what is? Get off it.3 straight 30 td seasons with a lackluster receiving corps outside of Gronk that one year. And i'm a brady hater.

When Cam has the same OL protection and can't do the same then I'll bow down to him. For now, I'm not really impressed.

people can be a hater all they want, it's usually envy but damn, if they don't respect one of the best ever of the game they say they love, that's just crazy.

so  you are saying for the past 14 seasons, the Pats have had a better oline in every year than the Panthers?  You are saying if Cam had their line, he would have 30+ tds a year and only around 10 ints every year?  I'm not saying no, but I will say they are better at adapting to what they do have than what us Panthers have ever seen from our team.  Shotty oline?  Pats run west coast type, quick offense.  Good oline?  They have more a vertical offense.  Excuses around here are horrible.

Dude, Brady doesn't get touched and it's not to some special skill he has. He stands in one spot and nobody touches him. OL equivalent to the system they're running. The Pats have an OL that works for their system so the Panthers should have on for theirs. Plus, unlike Brady who inherited the system, the panthers are building from ground up around Cam. Brady was more like the Kaepernick situation.

When i saw the replay of blood streaming down the finger of brady? I immediately became concerned for the citizens of Boston. They haven't ever had to deal with life altering crisis's like this. I can only imagine the somber tones of woe throughout the city after 2 major scares in less than a week. Sadly, theres nothing in the cities history that even closely comparable to what they've had to deal with this preseason.

You offer facts people reply with "brady doesn't get touched" The pats are masters of adjusting to personnell.

    • Calling carrier for getting punched in the nose just to keep us from a 5 on 3
    • I just mean it’s always offsetting in that situation.  I didn’t realize they called another penalty
    • And as I asked this again before, what goes into PFF's man open %, as I know you've brought that stat up before. Is that just the number of routes he gets open at any point during the route, or is it calculated on targets and if he was open when the ball got to him. Because like I pointed out so many times in the lead up to the draft, a big reason it was harder for him to get separation against man was because he not only had his man on him, but he was double or triple teamed on the majority of his routes this past year.  Just because of that alone, it was easier for him to get open against zone coverage where he could find holes and sit in them. Also, again, as been discussed so many times, his QB's play this year was awful, and lots of times his contested catches were due to him not delivering the ball on time when T-Mac got open.  Or just times he got open but wasn't targeted for whatever reason. So just using that stat as a way to say he struggles to get open against man is more likely than not, disingenuous. Hell, it's a PFF stat that you're using against him, yet at the same time, PFF absolutely loves him, he was their 4th overall player.   I posted this clip on here a week or so ago of the T-Mac vs Hunter game in 2023, where the anti T-Mac guys like to say Hunter shut him down.  But numerous times in this video you see T-Mac create tons of separation from Hunter but the ball wasn't thrown his way, plus a clear PI that wasn't called (and the one that was). https://x.com/4MR_Fetti/status/1918262063660454227 The "he can't separate" narrative is way overblown and become something more myth than reality.  No, he's not an elite separator like some of the quick twitch WRs, but he's so much better than the haters here like to say.
