One thing is for certain, G-Man is drafting nothing but linemen and wideouts in 2014.

13-19 is NOT inaccurate (a case could be made for 14-19). I swear, I have to call some of y'all judgement into question. Cam, perhaps, had his best preseason game as a passer since he was drafted.

13-19 is over 68%. That's not too bad considering:

1. Horrible oline play.

2. Literally no run game outside of a couple of scrambles by Cam.

3. Very few offensive possessions due to defensive scores.

Cam did miss a couple of throws, but looked like a few with Olsen were due to them not being on the same page. After watching the replay, I think he played fairly well. Some of his throws were really impressive. Plus the drops were third down plays that would have moved the chains. Gettis needs more time with Cam. He throws the ball with more velocity than 90% of the QBs in the NFL. Anything 30 yards or less from Cam gets to you in a hurry.

You in denial or something?

It's not that I don't agree our offense was bad, I just don't think NFL should be saying "hey look how bad cam newton is doing this season" Anyone should realize we had a limited number of drives and had a few key drops.

It's okay feldman, I don't expect you to understand.

I'm just going to chalk it up to preseason play calling. Shula and Cam did day they were still using Chuds play book (which is on paper so it didn't disappear) . I think the major difference will be the play calling in certain situations. Maybe Shula will help us out when we are holding a lead because he is by nature, more conservative. It is play calling and we saw two dive plays by Dwill. Regular season that will be Cam on a read with Tolbert or just Tolbert. Everyone knows that except for these reporters.

Cam will be fine, the offense will be fine. The thing everyone should pay attention to, 1 turnover! 1, and that is what will win us games folks.

...i swear im watching the same offense jeff davidson ran...why should this be a suprise? Since then we have only really added Cam and Olsen. Its the same horseshyt, wishing and hoping. We spent money and drafted talent on the D side of the ball and that is evident. Pumped about special teams and D. Panthers have relied on Cam to carry the offense which at times he can, but as great as he is he is human. Why would we expect the offense to be worth a shyt when we haven't improved it with the exception of the two above? Its gonna take a few more years to shore up the offense. We love and support Gettis and Lafell cause they are part of the Panther family but the bottom line is they aren't NFL caliber...like most ex-panthers they wont be in the league long if we traded them, they wouldnt be more than 4th WR on any other team. The o-line is anchored by Gross...how old is his ass? As much as i love Stewart and Dwill they let us down in one way or another and its been that way for awhile. This offense will hinge on Shula being inovative and the oline and WR's stepping up and making the plays they need to to move the chains...but one thing you can count on, what we see in preseason wont be what we see in week one...

I'm confused/Let me get this straight!?

Mind you, this was ONLY pre-season, and I didn't read the article (Yawn).

But the Superbowl MVP and QB has about 4 picks, and loses the game, but the article is about the Lowly Panthers and their QB's, offense problems (though they didn't have to score, din't have the ball much)? Talk about media manipulation and opinion making.

Offense has looked shaky in every Cam led preseason.

Of course it didn't translate to either regular season.

He had his best statistical preseason game of his short career and half of the huddle is already packing it in.

Hope you assholes die from a paxil overdose.

True.

You can tell that the preseason is used to see the offense Mano to Mano. During the regular season, the Panthers will use various stunts, schemes, movement and formations to counter the OL's sucky protection. Plus, maybe the lights will turn on for them once the season starts, as well?

As you said, it's been this way during all Cam's preseasons.

This is why I can't bother with  breathless Huddler's, or NFL.com's writers over analysis, before the first game is even played.
