Does he have an injury? He was killing it a couple of years ago before he tore his knee up IIRC. Could be an awesome 2nd TE while keeping BWill on as the 3rd and giving him a year to grow. Although, I have to admit, I'm excited about seeing BWill learn on the job this year.

CB Ron Bartell and S Amari Spievey.

Both have a lot of starting experience. That being said, Lions were hurting in their defensive backfield so if these guy were cut, I have questions.

Eagles let go of another guy with an odd path to the league in Michael Bamiro.  He's another big boy (6'8, 335).

 

A little info on his story here.

 

Speculation that there could be interest in him elsewhere, though the Eagles may be hoping to get him on PS.

Eagles also let go of undrafted rookie receiver Russell Shepard, a kid from LSU who played QB, WR and RB in college.
