WR Crop Looking Pretty Strong for 2014

It's looking like Jarvis Landry may come out early at this point. That's my guy. Best hands in the draft, IMO.

Love Landry. I got him in the 3rd round in my recent mock, but Landry has high potential. A team like SF could take him in the 1st. His teammate Odell Beckham is a hell of a player too. Will probably go before Landry.

it is no reason the panthers should not come away from this draft with a decent WR prospect.

Hell yea!

You can add a decent OT and CB to that list too.

I dont see how we cant come out of this upcoming draft with something at least like this:

(1) Kelvin Benjamin / Allen Robinson / Jordan Matthews

(2) La'el Collins / James Hurst / David Yankey / Zack Martin

(3) Aaron Colvin / Jaylen Watkins / Antone Exum

Correct.  The combine might move him into the bottom of the second, possibly.

So many good WR's that I think one will drop to us in the bottom of the second.

Yup. Coleman has a lot of talent and stands at 6'6". You cant teach height.

Coleman may eventually be a 2nd rounder in May (Bucs / Pats?)

This draft is so deep at our biggest needs: WR, OT, and CB.

I think my draft order might change depending on whether or not we can keep Hardy.  If we keep him, CB is 3rd round or later, if not, I might move CB up a bit in the draft

I agree.

If we cannot retain Hardy, I believe Gman will use that money on a free agent WR or OT. Corner could possibly be taken in the first two rounds.

    • Got to give some credit to the coaching staff on these. You can grab top talents but without good coaching, they just fizzle out. We've seen that a lot around here.
    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
