Cam has to feel trapped on a terrible football team

You heard it here folks. Dude who shattered the SEC record for total yards as a QB in his only season as a college starter and broke the NFL record for rushing TD's (as a rookie) is -- according to this genius -- "terrible" at running the read option.

Swagg... who in your opinion is good at running that offense compared to Cam? Just curious...

I'll hang up and listen...

I just said RG and Kap are better AT THE OPTION in the post that you quoted. Teach, I hope you are not Teaching our children, you can't read homie, kind of like CAM!!!!!!!!!

You didn't like my bit about the laptop so I thought I would try something else. I don't like Kap, but he makes better reads in the option game, don't deform my statement into something that is true. Russell Wilson, now I am a fan of Russ, supreme pocket awareness.

Oh so one bad game and Kaepernick is no good? You are a riot, lol.

You and I both know that you weren't joking in either instance. You really think that way. You need to work on that. The good thing is, if you keep it up, you're going to find yourself joining the recently departed poster MuMouey.

I didn't say he was no good, you twist words man...Word twister you are sir. I'm going to get banned because I have a different opinion than you and think that Cam does not have a good football IQ.

PM me if you wanna hint at something, don't say "you really think that way." Get real with it and PM me about so I can lay it out for you.

First you bring up stealing laptops. Now you're saying he's dumb too? You are on a roll here.

No thanks on the PM. You've done a good enough job burying yourself right here in this thread.

I get a sneaky feeling you are intoxicated and are fortunate to have auto correct. Get a grip man. You are showing zero swag by not only being racistish, but by hating on just about the only thing this organization has going for it.

Well, it is a small sample size, which according to what you are saying would make him terrible.

But here's the deal, RGIII and Kap do not have natural runner instincts. Basically, Kap is a fast guy who just takes off. Both RGIII and Kap run standing straight up and do not anticipate tackles at all. Both those guys are going to get blasted out of their shoulder pads sooner or later a la a Michael Vick. Watch and see.

Cam doesn't have to run, but when he does he shows the ability to make people miss in the open field and actually displays lateral movement.  He's actually an instinctive runner, not a converted sprinter.

Also, as far as the read option, Cam rushed for 1500 yards in his first two years and, to be honest, Chud didn't even try to run too much. Cam basically chucked it down the field most of the time. If some team actually did fully implement the read option with Cam, he could have easily rushed for over a 1,000 yards his first two seasons.

So bc he points out that cam stole laptops( which he did) he's a racists. GTFO with your over sensitive ass. It was a joke. Not a racial joke. Only ignorant cry babies pull out the race card for everything.

U have To realize that like swag said some of us have crowned cam the king and made him a god yet. He's unproven. And hasn't taken us to the playoffs. He's our leader and general. Ya know who gets the majority of the blame if Peyton Brady rgIII and most qbs if they don't make the playoffs and win games. Yep they get the blame bc they are the franchise leader and quarterback. Quit acting as if people who have concerns with cam and scared of his weak play are racist KKk members. Damn u people. <------- oh and before u try to make a race thing outta that too I was referring to you ignorant posters.

I am totally shocked that chubs dropped in to defend a Panthers fan using laptop theft references about Cam.

This is so bizarre.

Shocked that I see you throwing out the" u ares rasizt becuzs youz don't lyke camz"

I'm just saying what he said was true. Did he not steal laptops? It was a joke. Not a racially formed joke. Get off your high horse.

    • Congratulations do they know who the father is?
    • In my opinion Fitterer was probably right about not paying McCaffrey. Now not wanting to "pay RBs" in my opinion isn't something you want to set in stone, to me it all comes down to the individual.
    • Maybe I'm just not understanding, but everywhere that I have read says that signing bonuses go against the cap prorated by as much as five years. The following example uses Andrew Luck's rookie contract as an example. "Take Andrew Luck, the first overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft. Luck signed a four-year contract with the Colts worth $22.1 million and included a $14.5 million signing bonus. Rather than a $14.5 million cap hit in 2012, the Colts spread out his signing bonus over the life of his contract. The hit against the cap would be $3.625 million per year over four years instead of a direct cap hit of $14.5 million directly in 2012. This gave the Colts more leverage and cap flexibility in signing other players." https://www.the33rdteam.com/nfl-signing-bonuses-explained/ I don't know why some of you think that signing bonuses aren't counted against the cap over the length of the contract, but whatever.   "The bonus with a signing is usually the most garish aspect of a rookie contract. Bonus is the immediate cash players receive when they ink a deal. It factors into the cap, but only for the whole contract duration, in terms of salary cap calculations. In the case of Bryce Young’s $24.6 million signing bonus, that’s prorated to approximately $6.15 million per season over a four-year deal. This format allows teams to handle the cap and provides rookies with some short-term fiscal stability, which is important given the high injury risk in this league." https://collegefootballnetwork.com/how-rookie-contracts-work-in-the-nfl/ I understand how signing bonuses can be a useful tool in order to manage the cap, and as one of the article suggests, signing bonuses may become important if you have a tight cap, but the bill is always going to come due. I'm not necessarily referring to you Tuka, but it seems to me that others simply don't want to understand that fact which is why they're reacting to what I'm saying negatively. How odd. In any event, I have a better general understanding of why signing bonuses are used now, and it's generally to fit salaries under the cap. Surely players, whether they be rookies or not, love a signing bonus because they get a good portion of their money up front. This in turn gives them more security and probably amounts to tax benefits as well. I also understand why teams would not want to use signing bonuses, particularly for players or draftees who have a higher probability of being gone before a contract even ends.
