We need to stop overlooking Tampa.

I'm sick of the playoff talk, I'm sick of discussing upcoming besides Tampa.

I know the team isn't overlooking them but this fan base is going to be in for a rude awakening if they rip our hearts out on national TV.

As long as one of us is not a player secretly posting on this forum, we can talk about any game we want.  Hell I hope we beat the hell ouf of the Broncos in the Super Bowl this year.

Players can take it one game at a time.

Fans thinking ahead does nothing on the field.

If we win this game, I'll somewhat lessen my death grip on Shula and Rivera. In retrospect, this the type of game we lose in embarrassing fashion. So if we dominate, I'll know we've turned a corner.

I keep waiting for that what the fug game to hit again.  Look so good then fall face first.

You can do whatever you want, but I've been watching this team for a long time and I'm warning our fans not to overlook Tampa.

I hope to god we win but I'm not overlooking them at all and I suggest you should too if you want a possible loss to hurt less.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
