We are lucky that Ginn drop and that Donald drop occurred against a miserable excuse for a football team last night. We've been able to get over these drops against bad teams, but eventually it may really hurt us.

I honestly like the WRs we have on the team.

You only like them because were winning. Those drops by ginn and lafell will cost us a game against good teams (buffalo anyone?)and shouldn't be overlooked. Make no mistake our wrs aren't good by any measure. Once we play a good team pats sf reality will return.

Both players would have to come in and learn the playbook.  Gordon is one missed drug test away from a one year ban.  Nicks is breaking down fast, and will be a free agent in the offseason.  This sounds great on Madden, but not very practical in real life.

havent heard his name in any sorts of rumors, but he is a pending FA this offseason.packers have been hesitant about signing him to a big contract, but the packers did place a 2nd round tender on him last offseason.

Nicks is a FA at the end of this year, so if it didn't work out as well as we hoped we're only out a mid-late draft pick. With this team's drafting history in those rounds, it's a gamble I'd be willing to make.

My first pick would be to bring in a talented OLineman, which I mentioned in the post. 

Sadly I don't see many of them be dangled out for trade.

Which makes us NOT at least trying to Eugene Monroe so infuriating.

I would do the Gordon trade in a heartbeat. I would be a little more hesitant on the Nicks deal because you have to give him a long term contract THIS off season. I would rather try to get Cam extended while we still can get him for somewhat of a discount. We wait another year and he could be expecting 130 million or more....

Defense could use a little bit of help. But how they playing right now if it ain't broke don't fix it. Offense that's another story. Its gonna be test for them as the schedule gets stronger. Defense I know what they can bring against a good or bad team they just need to be consistent.

We may not "need" him, but we could sure as hell use him. 

 

Davis would be a nice addition here. Especially with the recent change in offense philosophy. Another security outlet for Cam that would open up the rest of the field.

Good list, nicks i would lower the offer definitely would do the josh gordon trade but it all boils down to GM and how he feels about Ron and this team going forward, he's got to buy into this in order for trades to be made.
