For those who haven't heard it/won't hear it, here is the basic run down of the segment they did on the Panthers (spent a good 5 minutes or so on us).

-Our defense was amazing. 
-Cam didn't play really well, but didn't play bad either. Pointed to the dropped passes.
-Some criticism of Smith having a bad day.
-Said this was one of the bigger games of the day. Lived up to the hype. Pointed to the physicality.
-More praise on our front 7. Said this is the best front 7 in football.
-Said our defense is right up there with KC.
-The NFC South race will be fun to watch, especially when we play the Saints in a few weeks
-Closed by saying "if you don't mention Carolina as one of the best teams in the NFC, you're not paying attention"



EDIT: They mentioned a cool stat. In the 4th quarter, our defense allowed 4 total yards.

EDIT: They were wrong....I just checked, we allowed 8 yards.

And honestly i'm not ruling out that KC could technically lose out. That schedule is tough esp with al lthe division games.

      Sellers is absolutely one to keep an eye on. Could be the next Cam or could be the next Anthony Richardson. Curious to see how he has progressed come this fall.

      I think Texas could go 0-12 and he would still go #1 based on his name and traits like you say.  But nusselman and sellers may be actually better qbs.    Man if bryce stinks it up this season its looking like a damn good year to swap out qbs.  Sellers highlights are just fuging jaw dropping

      I mean, the kid comes from a wealthy family. It's not like he needs the money. He has a ton of potential now we get to see what he can do as a starter. Everyone penciling him in as the #1 overall pick is putting the cart way before the horse. It's 5% because of his talent and what he's showing on the field and 95% because his last name is Manning. And if he is what he's hyped to be the Texas coaching staff needs to be answering some tough questions about why the kid wasn't on the field sooner. Ewers was a good college QB but he's definitely not a "keep a future #1 overall pick waiting" type of college QB. Only getting one season out of a top NFL talent because you chose to keep him buried behind a borderline NFL talent is just coaching negligence. Not starting him as a true freshman? Yeah, I get that. But on year two if the kids is what he's hyped to be you gotta wish Ewers well elsewhere and turn the page.
