Not giving up on HFA = rooting for taints?

We are better in almost every way than the 2003 Super Bowl team except for one fatal flaw, we can't complete passes downfield, 15 yards past the line of scrimmage. It will be tough to win a playoff game if the middle of the field isn't open and the run game isn't working. We need speed! and receivers who can separate, and Cam needs to develop a bit more to not be afraid to take those shots

"This Team" is much younger than that 03 squad. We might not be ready to take that next step. I am hoping we are growing and learning at a rate that can make this year a solid Super Bowl run.

I think we have the talent to make a run. I just don't think we are there yet, as a team. Cam is still learning how to play within himself. Until he trusts himself totally, I think he will continue to play QB like Shula wants him to. Safely.

That said. I like this Offense. We can move the ball, and we can score. Teamed with the Defense we have. That should be enough to carry us until Cam is ready to take over. I feel he is close, I am just not sure he thinks he is ready. You cannot play Offense while worrying over mistakes.

Let Cam be Cam until he totally gets it. Then lets let him be Superman.

I know it's late. But that didn't make sense even to me. Oh well, maybe I'll get it right tomorrow.

I'm rooting for Panther wins. Why would I want to open myself up for disappointment when a team I don't care about wins? I'm just going to enjoy our season. You guys are talking about seeding but we haven't made the playoffs yet. Whatever happens, if we end up in the playoffs I will enjoy those games whoever and wherever they are.

No way in hell I'm pulling for the Saints! Living in Alaska, there are plenty of SeaChicken fans around here. I've gone against them all year, but this week ill be pulling for them and the 12th man. I don't want them to trounce New Orleans... I want the Saints to lose it on the last drive with a pick... I want them demoralized and left wondering what if... So, that by the time they figure it all out... We will have done the same thing in more dramatic form... I want the Saints to lose out period!

I've already told the wife that since I'm up here (Alaska) if we make it to the NFC Championship game, and we play in Seattle... That I am buying two tickets. 1 for round trip airfare and 1 for the game. I think it would be epic to hear that crowd so quiet that the only damned fan you'd hear screaming in the entire stadium will be ME! Having seen every single one of their games... I can tell u, that that stadium does indeed get quiet. We must take care of our stuff first though.

100% rooting for the Seahawks.... No question for a second.

However....I won't be surprised if the Saints beat them. I don't think Seattle is that far ahead if at all. Quest Field is the advantage, but if any team ( other than us) can play through that advantage then it's the Saints.

Ive thought about this and Saints winning does only put us a couple behind the Seahawks for the conference, BUT we would have to sweep the Saints and frankly, despite how good we are. Its nearly impossible for any team to win in the Superdome in a prime time enviroment so I expect a L next Sunday. This Bucs game is more important than the Saints game in my opinion. We lose to the Bucs, then a probable loss against the Saints, we are 8-5 and in big trouble.

I have always been of the mindset of beating the Bucs tommorrow, give us a guaranteed winning record at 9 wins and everything else will fall into place.

Come on dude, never expect to lose.
