A site that may interest some of you draftniks.

The site is optimumscouting.com. I came across it last year while researching prospects. I think that it is good for ranking purposes (or trying to get a good list of viable prospects at each position), but if you're looking for profiles and all that, you may have to go elsewhere (though it does have some articles pertaining to some of the draft prospects and players in the NFL right now). One thing I like about it is that it does have its 2012 and 2013 rankings as well, so that you can see how they actually did on their prognostications).   I use this site and walterfootball.com as kind of a beginning point to know the nation's top prosepcts at each position.

I am a relative newcomer to this amateur (fan) draft research business, and am somewhat conflicted about spending time and effort into something that I really don't fundamentally enjoy (but find entertaining only as it relates to the Panthers) and have no control over. That being said, it's fairly interesting.

If you get a chance and are inclined, I am curious to know what you think of the site.

Thanks for the heads up. I checked it out and added it to my favorites.

    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
    • I mean there is relevance to that. But I think much of it has to do with the fact that he is clearly likeable. But does that translate to a coach taking his position to the next level like those that have had staying power for many years like Spoelstra? And not for nothing but does how much someone is liked even matter? Across leagues with the Panthers Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were universally well liked by players. Dave Canales is very well liked. I say you are what your record says. And the record says you got your ass handed to you by a fellow expansion team in the Magic in a game that was over at halftime and that same team went toe to toe with our nemesis who has been handing us L's for over a year now. And if Bam doesn't get his leg swept by LaMelo do we even get past the Heat? Again. It just all boils down to personal standards. I think newer and younger fans will love this. I just want to actually win a real playoff game fam 🤷‍♂️
