Any good rifle shooting ranges around Matthews?

Firepower is hand guns only... I want to take my wife to shoot AR15.  Any suggestions?

Nope.  Pappy's Gun range in Edgemoor, SC is the closest I know of(100 Yards).  Carolina Sporting Arms has a 25 yard range that is designed for pistols but they let you shoot rifles because it is below ground.  Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club is the best place to shoot, its in Weddington, but you have to be a member and that gets quite expensive.  I think its like $500 up front, then a monthly fee, plus you have to do X amount of hours of "work" around the location per year, only worth it if you will be shooting regularly.  I have heard Eagles Guns & Range in Concord is nice, but haven't been there myself, also a smaller sized range from what I understand.

Hope this helps.

Not going to help you now, but there is a new gun range on the drawing board for Matthews - Point Blank Range.

I've seen guys with shot guns at firepower - they scared the crap out of me because it was too much kick for them and their form looked dangerous......and my daughter was in there shooting at the time.

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
