As a big time Carolina Panther fan in California, it's a little different for us here in the West. Early games are at 10 a.m. (Gotta start cracking the beers by 8 or 9!). You see one in the wild every now and then (another Panther fan that is) and be like all star struck, lol (in my case at least).

Anyhoot, this game vs the 9Hers is a little more personal than division games to me. I lost 10 years of my life from the last meeting in November, lol (I kid, I kid, more like 5). I know of all the hate for the division, but we already won the division and are in the playoffs baby!!! Being in 9Hers country, I can't wait to beat these guys again and silence the noise around here!

PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE.. lets pound them to the ground!

Same boat here. Being from so cal, half of my family and all of my wife's family is from the bay. My phone was blowing up and getting flooded by texts the second the field goal cleared the uprights. Gonna be hosting a BBQ here at the pad this Sunday with some family and friends that are Niner fags so it should be pretty intense. Once we get through them, a quarter of my family is from Seattle so it starts all over again.

My wife is from the Bay Area too. Super annoying this past weekend when she bandwagoned hard on their game with the Packers. She did the same damn thing for the Super Bowl. Her sister in Sacramento, on the other hand, is hardcore Niners year round. I was pulling for Philly and then GB so I would not have to deal with her. She and my nephew are now flying out here to go to the game with my son and I, plus I had to sell her 2 seats at face because she's family. Grrr. The 3 hours back to Raleigh are going to be real uncomfortable for someone. I NEED THIS ONE BAD.

I've yet to see a fellow Panther fan in the Bay Area.

I've seen Panthers gear, comment on it, then come to find out they were wearing it simply because it was part of their ensemble.

I drove through the Livermore area a couple weeks ago making the west coast Christmas tour from San Jose where her brother lives to her sister's in Sacramento. Sh*tty traffic.

Best part of the trip was in San Jose, when my son and I almost took out a huge table of intricately arranged christmas cards when Hixon caught that TD.

I ran into a guy in a Cam Newton jersey inside a strip club in Vegas last month and I felt like an idiot going past naked women to talk to a guy.

    • Bleacher Report trade and mock has us trading to 9 and picking SG Brayden Burries Charlotte Hornets recieve: Kyrie Irving and No. 9 pick Dallas Mavericks receive: LaMelo Ball, No. 14 pick and No. 18 pick The Hornets just finished their sixth season with Ball. It was only their second with a winning record, their sixth without a playoff trip and the sixth in which someone else paced them in win shares (Kon Knueppel this time around). While they'd surely like to keep building on their second-half momentum, maybe they're just unconvinced that Ball can lead a winning team. Maybe they credit that stretch run less to him and more to the addition of Knueppel, the ascension of Brandon Miller and some out-of-nowhere gains on the defensive end.   Charlotte should be dreaming big right now, and perhaps it believes a steadier hand at point guard is needed to realize that. Or maybe it feels it needs a little more time to bring everything together and thinks that task would be simpler without Ball's money on the books and with a top-10 pick in a loaded draft instead of two selections in the mid-teens.   Either way, this shakeup works. Short-term, a healthy Irving should be far easier to follow than Ball. You may not always know if Irving is playing, but you know what you'll get if he does: elite shotmaking, all-time handles, offensive ingenuity and the ability to work both on and off the ball. He could show this young roster what's required to win for a year or two (he has a $42.4 million player option for 2027-28) or even stick around longer if the partnership proves especially fruitful.   The Hornets also add a building block in Burries, who offers both plug-and-play polish and flashes of shot-creation that hint at star potential. In short, they could better their chances of winning both now and in the future while collecting both the best player in the trade and the highest draft pic
    • I'd hire him in a heartbeat. Hell if he wanted the job, I'd have Canales packing his poo right now and I don't dislike Canales. It's just that firing a 106-58 coach is crazy work. That's a 65% winning percentage. That's the equivalent of averaging 11 wins a season. That's incomprehensible for a fanbase That's never experienced back to back winning seaons.
