Kaep just downright looked like a bad QB in a handful of games.  Cam gets antsy and throws picks but doesn't really have complete stinkers of games minus AZ maybe.

 

Put Kaepernick on the Panthers and I don't think we make the playoffs.

I think ESPN just realized that's the direction the NFL is going and that is the Cam Newton way. I think the media wasn't privy to the panthers and Cam before the season started since they were lost in "4th quarter come backs" and "all in for week 1". This coming off season the panthers will not be underdogs anymore and a lot of analyst will pick them to be a possible super bowl contender. And those analyst will want to be right throughout the season thus we'll enjoy the excuses other teams get. If Stephen A. didn't pick the 9ers to make the super bowl he would not dedicate this season to be right. On the other hand if analyst are all on a team's bandwagon and the team fail then they get piss and find a player or coach to put the blame on. Exactly what happened to the Redskins this year. Example, Bayless got them going to the superbowl this year to RG3 should never have started. Thus, he was right all along, right? The business of sports analysis is an inexact science and analyst do anything possible to be exact.

 

You'd think if the panthers upset the 9ers we'd get all the accolades. Not! Doesn't work that way. You only get the accolades when the analyst in consensus pick you to win. The same thing apply to individual players. Had all the analyst picked Cam to be "going to be grrreat" no player would be comparable to him especially with that 11-1 win streak. Sorry fellow huddlers, your team have not been anointed yet.

Wow, have to say I was shocked watching that.  Lol pretty awesome video though in a weird vindictive kind of way.

 

Seriously, I don't know what the hell most people were seeing when they watched these young QBs and ranked Cam lower than Colin, RG3, etc. coming into the season.  The dude has the single most talent than ANY other young QB in the league... and I don't even feel like it's particularly close.  Whether he reaches that potential is a different story though I guess.

 

Just get the dude some legit weapons and its over.
