Everyone stop crying about the refs

Also, on the Davis TD catch, nobody ever mentioned the big thing IMO.

 

He stepped out of the back of the endzone before coming back in and making the catch. By rule, he's not allowed to be the first guy to catch that ball, right?

I believe the 1st penalty on Mike Mitchell for hitting VD after the tipped pass was the right call. The ball had already hit the ground and then Mitchell came in and hit VD after the play was dead. Now the headbutt call I think was very bad. I think the ref should of kept the flag in his pocket and both teams were getting in each others face talking poo which im fine with.

12 men in the huddle should of been called and was missed by the refs. But that doesnt mean 49ers wouldnt have still scored a TD. The PI on Florence was an easy call. He didnt even turn around and look for the ball and was making contact on Boldin before the ball even got there.

I think both sides got bad calls but I do believe my 49ers got the better calls. Either way I still think the 49ers would have held on for the win. Great game and I look to rematches in the future.

Makes his point and is not trying to rub it in. I do think the refs impacted this game, but it would have been tough for us to win with the way the 49ers were handling the trenches. Bad display of a game by the NFL, unfortunately it is our team that will question how things would have ended without all the calls. Thanks for having class, tough losing a playoff game. This area and team needed the attention and hopefully it is just the beginning.

You got completely shut down in the second half and if anybody benefitted from the refs in the second half it was YOUR team. You should be blaming your offense if anything.

We got zero points off that one call....zero you moron.

On the other hand the 49ers got 10 points thanks totally to thr Refs in the first half

It was a little of both.

 

We lost because we didn't play well in the second half.

 

It wasn't close because the refs screwed us over a dozen times.

 

Take away one factor or the other then the game would be a lot easier to digest. Take away both and we would have won easily.

You can check my posts here I never cry about calls, but we certainly couldn't catch a break in the first half. 2 questionable personal fouls that gave them 6 points, and that TD that should not have been a TD. How do you miss 12 men on the field when you have the entire commercial break and players pointing that sh1t out to you?

 

But don't get it twisted. Refs are not the reason we lost. We had the ball at their 1 yard line twice. Translation, our offense blows and that's been a pattern all year. Also our #2 ranked defense showed their lack of discipline and focus in the first half as they let the 49ers get into their head. The same defense also could not get off the field in the third quarter i.e. blown coverages, knowing Frank Gore was coming and not doing anything about it, boneheaded moves that clearly showed the stage was too big for some of the guys. 

 

Bad calls balance each other out in the long run. Sometimes they go your way and sometimes they don't. Unfortunately, the officiating has sucked this year and we're not the only victims.
