Players you DO NOT want the panthers to draft.

Man, this guy really hates Moncrief so much that he made a thread about not taking him.

Pssshhhhh, I think The Huddle gets it. You don't like Moncrief. Move on.

Just have to make a point to you fair weather football fans who think Moncreif and Matthews are the best thing since sliced bread because they played in the sec. Don't hate him but he's not a first round caliber player. show me some credible source that has him going in the first.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Matthews is an absolute stud. Not just bc he played in the SEC.

I've gotta back Chuck here actually lol

Matthews has a strong NFL future ahead.  He's a damn good all around football player.  Great routes, smart and extremely disciplined.

Moncreif had a few very suspect games this season against Ole Miss, Bama, Texas, and T A&M.  I wouldn't be apposed to him but this board tends to hype him more than any draft site I've come across.

Im not saying he's on the level of a Watkins, Green, Julio, etc. but Matthews' game will def translate into the NFL. The kid is not going to be great but has 2nd tier potential: Bey Bey Thomas / Nicks' level.

absolutely.  would be great if he was available in the second round.  will be a guy that can make some money if he runs well at the combine.

I saw a lot of Landry and Beckham this  year and like both of them.

Martavis Bryant is interesting.

I haven't seen Kasen Williams play much but he would interest me as well.

Donte Moncrief slow overrated chest catcher. Does not high point the ball well and will not run faster than 4.55-4.6. Do not fall in love with this kid in the first round there are better options in the first 2 rounds than this kid.

Watch Moncrief run a 4.4

Keep in account Bo Wallace who has the best wr crew in the SEC yet still can't do poo with it

I would really take Matthews at 28. Matthews has to be to most underrated WR in this class. All he does if perform and I still see a 2nd round grade. I really think that Matthews will be a day 1 pick whether to us or not.

Beckham and Landry are studs. Beckham is def worth a look in the 1st round and Landry who will probably be a 2nd-3rd reminds me so much of Cruz.

Havent seen much of Bryant, but I really like Kasen. Kasen is coming off an injury but the kid is explosive.

    • Here in lies the rub that the supporting posters continue to ignore. He wasn’t a 2nd round pick in the 2025 class, especially with an ACL tear. It was a dumb pick for any GM who looks ahead to determine values. C and CB were much better values than an injured RB in 2024. If a RB isn’t even playing much in 2024, you have to compare him to 2025. We’re beating a dead horse but only because the defense of the pick is almost comical at this point. We’ve made a ton of poo picks and moves/non trades while Morgan was GM and the assistant GM. It happens, we don’t have to jump through hoops to act like we just had some really bad luck. The 2025 draft class is unknown so far but damn it felt way better afterwards for the first time in a long time. Embrace the potential and stop stamping guaranteed on the box of poo of the 2018-2024 drafts. We are were we aware because of them and 2025 has to hit so we can get past the 7 win max in 7 year hurdle.
    • Oh for those tired of the Mannings I have bad news, Peytons son Marshal already has college teams after him and he isn't even in HS until this fall...   I'd wager we have two Mannings in the NFL in 2030
