Chances we keep Shula?

I've got a feeling it'll take until week 9 next season. Going 3-6 and having the worst rated offense in the league, and a defense that's already given in should shake things up.

This ain't Tampa! panthers ain't had a winning season since 08 so why we gona fire him after going 12-4? It as most logical people have said he will be given help and better players with the hope of familiarity with this offense a second year working in his favour and if it fails he's gone and prob will take Ron with him

Shula was fired in Tampa after an 11-5 season after being terribly out coached in the playoffs.

They went on to win a Superbowl within 3 years of doing it.

How illogical of them.

We have a window open with this young defense, but it won't stay open forever. Need to act now.

It's illogical to think of that happening here! Fans craved a winning season they got one so whilst you have that to lay on as a safety blanket It won't happen, if you use that Logic Rivera would have been fired when most on here called for his head after the buffalo and cardinals games, I agree it's not great offense but they won't change it as I said they will see no need too, we had a winning season!

The issue is not Shula, it is the players we have we have around him. We scored an average of .6 less a game this year than we did last year, and only 3.5 pts per game less than in 2011. Given that we had a defensive lineman as our starting RG and our LG was a retread that was not on the team at the start of the season, I think Shula did a decent job. Next year we should see a jump in performance on the offensive side of the ball as we did this year on the defensive side. Plus we play the NFC East and the AFC South, plus Seattle at Seattle and Green Bay at home. The schedule on paper looks easier than this years turned out to be.

i agree with much of what you said except our common opponents are AFCN and NFCN plus Seattle and Philly

Who do replace him with? That would be my question. I would like to see us pound the ball more. Our rushing statistics are decieving. If there is a better canidate available they should consider letting Shula go. In his defense the offense needs some playmakers.

We gotta keep him and let Cam grow in the offense
