Walter football latest mock-Robinson

I think they are very similar, to me he could be what Brandon Lafell could have been except with more potential. Are you not a Robinson fan?

I am a huge Robinson fan.  He is significantly better than LaFell in about every aspect of the game.

Robinson runs great routes....is shifty and explosive after the catch...makes some ridiculous grabs.  He is both a deep threat and over the middle.

He is sig better than any WR on this team not named Smith.

So your arguement is that you don't really know what you are talking about related to Robinson because you never watched him play....but you are not impressed with him. Brilliant.

I can tell you this. I watched at least half the PSU games the past two seasons (wife is a PSU grad). Robinson is an incredible WR.

Runs great routes...makes the difficult catches...steps up huge when his team needs a play. I watched him regularly carve up secondaries. He is a deep threat and makes huge plays with YAC.

Guy is a legit and explosive WR.

Everything you said I already know. Please tell me something I dont know.

From what I saw off youtube, thats exactly who he is.

Watching a few clips on youtube does not tell you the story.

That is why people talk up and down players based on a few youtube clips they saw.

Just like scouts, you actually need to see them play to make a real evaluation.

Thats why I asked if anyone could give me somthing I couldnt get just from watching highlights cutups. Thats why I said I want someone who have seen mutiple full games.

Did I not?

Fair point,

Just saying that he is far more than LaFell ever has been.

He is a complete package WR and will definitely go in the first round.

Im not sure if hes going in the first round. Huddlers seem to think that everyone will be gone by the no28 pick. Smh

Been reading a lot about him after the season.

Really like him in the games I watched and respected him for staying at PSU when he could have bolted.

If he has a solid combine then I think late first is a realistic spot for him to go....but all depends on other WR's in the first and where they go.

ASJ is a great blocker as well as reciever where Amaro lines up mostly as a WR and misses a ton of blocks..we got that guy already in Olsen.

Also has been compared to Gronk, physical FREAK at 6'6, 276 (?!). I think last year or next year he is a mid-first/top TE taken. Similar to Lewan, his "value" slipped for a variety of reasons, but pro-potential did NOT, IMO. In other words, for us, I think his value is GREATER.

Also I don't want to spend another high pick on DE this year. If we lose Hardy. We still have Alexander, Addison, and Roh. To take his place. This off-season needs to be about Pass catching weapons and protection for Cam and Secondary.

    • PJ's completion % was 63% when starting games in Carolina.  Which I believe is better than Bryce when starting.  And again, 4-3 as the starter here and the LONE QB Carolina has been able to actually win with in the Tepper era.  If you ask a gambling gunslinger to come into blowouts.....they are going to go down in a blaze of glory.  Which he would do.  Yeah, he isn't good.  And gunslingers are supposed to have rockier stats than checkdown QBs.   So....why does PJ Walker have a better comp % as a starter than Bryce Young.  And for every knock you want to make about PJ, you can find something or a skillset that PJ does better than Bryce.   I didn't say PJ had good field vision.  He doesn't.  Tell me about Bryce after he comes off the first read lol.  Let me repeat, PJ Walker is not a good QB.  He is NFL depth and an in house arm.  Bryce Young doesn't belong in a convo w/ Jake and Cam.  He belongs closer in a convo with the backup caliber QBs Carolina was forced into playing.  Which isn't just PJ Walker.  But Kyle Allen.  Moore.  Guys like that.
    • Oh I see what you meant by memory. I will trust my memory, I have looked a a lot of those ball charts for Bryce and they trend a general pattern. They thing that has changed that I have noticed more recently is the reduction in the bunching of behind or at  the LOS passes over to his right.  Aside from the quantity of throws recently since the running game has become a more dominant factor.
    • Yes but you basically said you are going from a quick skim of those charts without doing the same for Bryce and/or Andy. So you are going memory vs. snapshots. That's not going to be a very comprehensive analysis.
