Pee Wee's Playhouse for sale

With the square footage figured out, I needed to determine exactly where the Playhouse would be located. So, I grabbed my Globey, went back to my Magic Screen, and re-watched an episode looking for clues. As it turns out, there was a huge one staring me right in the face (with its four faces).

While I initially thought the house might be a lock for a Southern California locale (Pee-wee’s house in “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” is actually in Pasadena, CA), in reality (or un-reality, in this case) the wacky abode is located in Keystone, SD. How on Earth did I arrive at that conclusion? Well, at the end of every episode, Pee-wee pulls the arm of a discus thrower statue, revealing a secret storage area for his scooter. He hops on it and shoots out of the house and into the sky, flying right in front of… Mount Rushmore. Which is located in Keystone, SD.

In the footage shown during the closing credits, Pee-wee can be seen speeding down roads in a forested area which fits nicely with that Keystone location. I’ll admit that the monkey-filled bamboo forest seen in the show’s opening doesn’t, but I just chalk its existence up to the eccentric man-boy growing it himself and having the primates flown in.

Did they clean the fap out of it or would that task fall on the buyer?

My first question too.

Back when Michael Jackson was on trial, there was a paralegal assigned to go through his underwear drawer looking for crusty briefs

Next time you think your job sucks...

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
