San Diego St. RB Adam Muema leaves the combine for "religious reasons"

that's irrelevant and far from the what was originally stated about this man so your attempt at "fairness" is a lost cause. nevertheless, you're "justifying" your argument. the issue isn't about none of these guys not playing in a game because God said so.

Since you threw up a wall of text I'm gonna stop you right here.

You are wrong. That is my issue with this case. Muema said that god told him if he missed the combine, he'll play for  Seattle. He says that playing for Seattle is his dream.

Now then, I would wager that winning a ring is a dream of many in the NFL. Thus my analogy is apt.

lack of accepting my statement doesn't confirm me as wrong. there was much for you to gain from my statement and clearly is necessary yet I have not asked you to accept it. the funny thing is, you say I'm wrong for stating what has already happened in my life. smh... nevertheless, I'll let you go on with your thinking but understand my original statement to this, there is no wall. I said I'm a true follower yet while being one I came to understand other "followers" relate yet "some" can't truly distinguish the voice of the Lord from the voice of Satan. It is real both ways and many are deceived. The people that care not at all and pass there judgment don't realize they are part of the deception. However never cast judgment too quick because something doesn't make sense to your belief. That's it! I never place a wall that keeps people out of the understanding of Jesus unless they are attempting to set a snare. I wrapped up by saying, we'll see... Suppose, what he has said comes to pass, then what? Sadly, he'll still be seen a a nutcase by many people here and everywhere else. My point is I have seen God work in ways that are far more crazy than this and things have come to pass as spoken, also I have seen many men assume incorrectly. The lesson learned is let it be and hold the tongue until all is confirmed. That's all.

I have no problems with someone being Christian/Atheist/Buddhist/whatever, but why is it not ok for us to shame this lunatic for pretending god is picking his football teams for him?

"God wants me to to spread the word about christianity in foreign countries"... Cool. No prob-lamo with me

"God wants me to play for the Seattle Seahawks" ... Fug off

God works in mysterious ways...?

... I didn't say you were wrong for stating what has already happened in your life. I said you were wrong about what my argument was. Then I explained my argument. Then you threw up another wall of text with more logical fallicies.

you're missing my point friend, so let me simplify.... how can one say what God has instructed another to do when all you have in assumption? That's logic! Non believers want to make Jesus/God logical, which is  why they will never believe. You can't place faith in a box and show it off. So then, why not wait and see? btw, please take no offense to my comments as none are with hatred or anger. I sense this conversation  potentially becoming a misunderstanding so hopefully you understand my view without assumption.

“I have no idea where is,” a person close to Muema said. “(San Diego State coaches) have been trying to track him down, too. Every time they do, his phone is off. ... It's a frustrating deal.”

"It's a big mystery," said Lou Farrar, Muema's former football coach at Charter Oak High. "At this point, we just hope he's safe. As long as he's safe. That's all that really matters.”

Dude has gone off the grid.

Also he says he is #8 for the Seahawks.

Muema even went so far as to change his Twitter bio to reflect that he's a member of the Seahawks and has the No. 8 jersey, per Bomani Jones:

He's shown back up. http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2014/feb/28/adam-muema-nfl-combine-god-aztecs-draft/

In a phone interview with the U-T Friday morning, Corey Nelson, a linebacker from Oklahoma who has been training with Muema in Florida since January, said Muema called him on Thursday afternoon asking for a ride from the airport.

Nelson said Muema was still wearing his NFL combine gear when he got into the car. When asked to describe Muema's demeanor on Thursday, Nelson said the running back seemed "focused, cheerful and very wise."

"He said he was at the airport for three days straight," Nelson said. "He was telling me when I picked him up that God told him to stay at the airport and don't do anything, just stay there. That's what he did for three days straight.

"On the fourth day, he told me he couldn't do it anymore. He decided to call me."

Nelson picked Muema up on Thursday and took him straight to a grocery store because Muema said he was hungry since he hadn't had much to eat in three days.

"He didn't have food (while at the airport), and he said God blessed him and then two guys came up and bought him food and something to drink," Nelson said.
