Kenny Britt visiting Carolina

I know it's been rumored that Carolina is interested, but I was just listening to the NFL channel on Sirius and his agent verified he's visiting.

He mentioned that he's been to Washington, New England, and one other place (can't remember) so far. He then mentioned that he's scheduled to meet with Carolina and Buffalo.

I think this would be a great sign at the right price. He may be a head case but I think its worth the risk. My only fear is if we sign Britt, we won't go receiver in the 1st rd. when clearly that should be our first priority if there is a good one left on the board. We need help on the O-line but Britt or Cotchery are not the answer for the #1 receiver spot.

Britt and cotchery at WR and Cason and Thomas at CB and that'll be a pretty good FA

I'd love to have all 4, but depends on the price. Our only major hole then would be OT and we would still draft a WR in the first 2 rounds. We'd be very well off.

I like Britt, if he can stay healthy he'll be a great sign for really cheap.. I think if he finally plays for a winning organization that has superbowl potential that he will get his act straight.... Then draft a left tackle first round and receiver second and we'll be good.

    • Forth and inches.  You put the biggest MF on our team as a fullback and you bulldoze for the first down. Even give him the ball.  He's gonna get 1/4 inch.
    • Arguably the biggest defense Bryce-stans have. DC is doing him no favors calling the same 4ish concept type of pass plays - playaction dumpoff to TE, X receiver comeback route, empty backfield 5 yard curls for all receivers, and slot deep in. Bryce is already a liability. The same stale pass plays most weeks doesn't help also. When we deviate from those stale plays, we get Rams type of games where the Rams sell out on short passes and we beat them deep. I just want a 4 game stretch where we call like 5-10 deep passes a game and see how Bryce does. If he stinks it up, then DC has his evidence of why Bryce isn't the answer. We literally aren't even giving Bryce a chance with these play calls, and this is coming from a guy that wanted CJ with our pick badly
