Fan Fest?

I plan on going and I live 2.5-3 hours from Charlotte--depending on traffic, police presence, etc. I have been going for several years and enjoy it as I have not yet been able to attend training camp. I like being in the stadium, too.

Another reason to go is you can get up close with the TopCats.

i can't believe some of you not tailgating with huddlers. i have only been to one game since being on the huddle, and i tailgated at the usual spot. didn't have to bring a damn thing except a toys for tots donation and my own beer. it was much easier than doin everything myself. Ranucci cooks up some goooood food.

edit: didn't say anything about fan fest. i've never been, but if I still lived in charlotte i would definitely go. props to those driving several hours

Yes, they sell beer (and wine if you know where to get it) at Fan Fest. Let's just say, I wouldn't have stayed for the whole practice if they didn't. Doesn't look like there will be a Huddle tailgate for Fan Fest. Look for a post from Livermush regarding a tailgate for the preseason games. Usually, a group of Huddlers sit in the East side of the stands (behide the goal posts in the shade) for Fan Fest. East side, upper seats of the lower bowl, for the most shade.

Looking forward to attending my first Fan Fest tomorrow. Been in Charlotte my whole life, loved this team from day one...never been to a Fan Fest. Now though, with a 4 1/2 year old daughter and my two-week old son, we're going.

Glad to see the thread I started finally got heated up, so you really won't get big named players autographs? That sucks, I just went and bought a mini helmet and a football today to get autographs on, was hoping for d-will, and j-stew at least. Hoping to get peppers to sign my jersey but doubt that will happen. Hope everyone has a great time, and hope to see some of you out there.

You may get some good autographs. You just got to get next to the field. For sure you will not if you don't get next to the field.

You got to claim a spot. You will see. he good spots will be crowded. Like near the tunnels.

I've been to FF a few times, it's good if you can't make the trip down to Spartanburg, but the sun is ridiculous if you sit in a bad spot and I never really tried to get autographs since people always crowd the tunnels.
