Game 79: Charlotte Bobcats (40-38) @ Boston Celtics (23-55)

Recommended Posts

We have a big game on the road tonight against the Celtics and we cannot afford to overlook them. On paper Rondo, Bradley, Green, Bass, and Humphries looks like a decent starting five and they also have Bayless, Pressey, Sullinger, and Olynyk coming off the bench.

Humphries will test Big Al on the defensive end because in all reality, Humphries is a stretch four playing the five for Boston. If you leave him open, he's capable of knocking down a jumper.

On offense, feed BIG AL!!! There is not a big on Boston's roster (Humphries, Olynyk, Anthony) that can stop Big Al. The key will be to keep MKG at the top of the offense so Jeff Green can't come down to double-team Al, and if Rondo or Bradley decides to help out; Kemba and Hendo need to make them pay.

With Washington playing Orlando tonight, we can't afford a slip up.

Go CATS!!!

Good points - gotta feed Al tonight and let him have a big game.  The Wizards gave him a tough outing, so he's due for a 40-20 night lol.

I'm with you on starting Pargo, but we both know that it won't happen.  On the bright side, he will get minutes, and if he has the hot hand, Cliff may leave him in.

    • On another note, Kevin O'Connell is a great coach
    • I was pissed when we traded up to  the #1 overall pick  I said on this forum right after we made that trade withe the Bears watch us turn right around & give the #1 overall pick back to the Bears next season because I already knew we would draft Bryce Young with that pick & he would be a bust & yes I was right & not just right but absolutely right   Bryce Young had all kinds of red flags coming out of colleg.simply put that was about the riskiest #1 overall pick for a Qb I have ever seen in my entire lifetime  & still right to this day years later until Bryce Young proves me wrong . ..just saying  good luck
    • He wasn't and those people were wrong. Winning and putting up numbers at lower levels does not always translate to the NFL. There's no shortage of great HS players who didn't translate to college and great college players who didn't translate to the NFL. It looked very obvious to me on the college field that Bryce didn't have NFL level physical talent and that's what's playing out at the NFL level.
