2014 NHL PLAYOFFS (Round 2)

Recommended Posts

The only thing better than NHL playoffs is the NFL payoffs. Playoff hockey is great and it looks like the league is gonna let 'em play hard this year.

Pulling for the Ducks and I like Boston in the east.

St. Louis Blues up 2-0 at the end of the 1st period. Porter got the first of the game on a ridiculous angle on net... Chicago is 1-9 on the power play and they had 3 in the first period today and couldn't get anything going.

Blues in OT 4-3.

The hit Seabrook laid on Blakes will definitely result in a suspension and will seriously hurt the Hawks chances. Their second best defenseman likely suspended for 2-3 games could likely see the Hawks done in the first round.

Was a bad hit- boarding, charging, whatever you want to call it, it was a head shot with the shoulder.

Couldn't agree more. Yes it's in my blood (I'm Canadian), but I truly love the NHL Playoffs and believe it blows the NBA/MLB out of the water. It does more than make up for the lack of football. Every game/series is a battle of wills, full of momentum swings.

If only the U.S. enjoyed the NHL half as much as Canadians... Which is a big reason why I appreciate American hockey fans considering the coverage/image it gets.

Today's game between the Blues/Hawks was phenomenal and that series is living up to its hype. Pitt/CBJ already 2-1 and seems like it will be quite entertaining.

It's going to be weird seeing the Hawks out in the first round.

Not over yet, but yes that would be very surprising. I say it goes to at least 6 games. Can't see Chicago losing in less than 5 to a less experienced team. However, St Louis is showing every sign that it is a playoff-ready team.

Blues were my pick to win the Cup before the playoffs. Of course they're playoff ready.
