  1. Past hour
  2. But if you're Canales and Morgan you're trying to save your jobs. I get it from our perspective. Yeah, it's onto the draft. Talking next year's draft in September is just an annual Panthers' tradition in the Tepper era. But honestly, I'm kinda over that too. Another reset is probably going to go similarly. Folks with other options aren't lining up to work for David Tepper. It looks like a retirement plan because it's gonna help your bank account but it might kill your NFL career, at best it's going to be a significant setback. At this point, I'd honestly rather us do what we can in the meantime to give Canales and Morgan every opportunity to show that we don't need another reset with another batch of guys who no one else was considering for the level of position that we hire them for.
  3. the thing is, unless Canales has guarantees on year 3, he could still salvage his HC position if he benches Young and the offense succeeds. He did not draft Young and could plausibly show that he can perform with a different QB. Nobody organizational is playing for draft position this early no matter who is fired or benched tbh
  4. I've been saying that if you bench Young it's officially over. It really over right now but they just haven't accepted it yet. But it's not going to be but a few more game before they put this lame horse down. The vet is on his way as we speak.
  5. None of these are shocking. I was wait and see this year.... and I saw enough after game one to know BY will never produce in games that actually matter.... Hes NOT AN NFL QB and he never will be.... that horse is dead.
  6. Let's just sign that kicker who is experienced with 100% success rate on all field goal attempts no matter the distance and 100% xp's. They exist, right?
  7. Pretty much this ^^^ we know hes not an NFL qb at this point nothing new to add.
  8. It's getting old watching Panthers player look as good as they're ever gonna look on opening day of their rookie season. We just don't develop talent. Chuba is one of the few guys in recent years who has actually significantly improved as Panther vs. when he was drafted. There's a loooooong list of guys who havent.
  9. Don't try to remember or count them. You will only make yourself throw up.
  10. at that point, its done, we are playing for draft position
  11. On the list of things I will never understand in a million years 1.How half of the huddle could see this and a professional org could not 2. How the hell does dan morgan get the gm job all things considered 3. Why in the hell did we trade up for a rb with a torn acl theres more but those are my top head scratchers
  12. And development. That’s all he talks about I got the same vibe from Sunday. Halfway through it just looked like 2023 all over again
  13. what things do you think he is trying to make Bryce do this year versus last year?
  14. Yay we have a secret weapon kickoff that can be used twice a game if we’re lucky
  15. He's done here that's for sure. I don't really care what becomes of him after he's off the team.
  16. it is a bit exhausting tbh, it's why I've stopped bothering to look into understanding the circumstances and just thrown my hands up. There's just nothing new to add. but the rest of the team is also in such rough shape, hard to be excited. At least we've got a handful of very good players... Just wish we could get something more consistent and competent going as a team.
  17. It’s not an overly exciting draft class this year so there’s really not much for us to look forward to
  18. Just another thing to add to the long list of things that the Huddle could see that the Panthers' well paid professional evidently can't. To be clear, I don't blame Bryce. I don't blame him for not participating at the combine. Most top prospects don't. There's little to gain and potentially a lot to risk. Does he really want to go out there and float his ducks while Levis and Richardson and Stroud are throwing lasers? It's gonna be a bad look. I don't blame him for not having NFL measurables. It was always obvious. It's the Panthers' fault for thinking that these were things that could be overcome. I didn't blame Armanti Edwards or Jimmy Clausen either. All I can ask of players is to put in the work. It seems like all of these guys did what the coaches asked of them and they just weren't good enough. That's not their fault.
  19. this experiment has to end regardless if he gets back to the last 10 games level from last year. Hes too mentally fragile to rely on. I think Tepper knows this now.
  20. Yep, that's what will happen. I could see a Shanahan style offense that's more horizontal and less vertical do better for him. I could see him going to Miami as an insurance policy behind Tua. Canales has not built a system that suited Bryce. He did after the benching, but since then, he's trying to make Bryce do things that he can't do. Draft pedigree will cause people to over pay on depreciating assets. Like Darnold, with all his bad tape in NY.
  21. I agree that the Young debate has run its course. That horse has been beaten so badly the the only thing left is a bloody spot where the horse fell dead.
  22. How well has 7 years of Top 10 draft position gone so far?
  23. aceboogie icege Gooby those and a few more
