  1. Past hour
  2. But are they? Or are there just more instances of throwing sub 200 than in the past, so it feels like they are the norm, but in reality, it's just that there are more than there used to be so it makes you think they're the normal game, but still the minority? Because the stats don't agree with you, there are only 8 teams averaging less than 200 yards passing this year. Yes, passing yards in general are a bit down this year, but sub 200 games is not the norm for teams with a good QB
  3. No losers here, glad you could take time form all your BY posting to post a answer..LOLS! You got ND. The only two I thought of were Bama and SC, then I never could figure out the other schools with 3 players. I thought I would have to drop a hint or two - "Think about ST....." nope two ollllld members came in here on crushed it!
  4. Yeah dog I respect your posts but I cannot get on board with this assessment. His mechanics are poo and he he struggles to see the field. I mean even player loving Aikman pointed this out last week
  5. In today's game, it's very much a situation based thing as to whether it was good or bad to see that many moves. If the player just keeps transferring on up, maybe say he started at a meh mid major school, then transferred to a high mid major, then to a solid power 5 (or is it 4 now, I have no idea these days lol), and then to an NC contender, I don't see that as bad. But if it's someone who just bounced around for the money or to avoid position competition, I'd view that as a red flag. One transfer to be able to get more playing time I get, but if you keep doing it, you're either not good enough or afraid of competing, or both.
  6. We can only worry about our games and hope our team is focused on winning each game they have left. Control your own destiny
  7. This year 200 yards or less are the norm.
  8. If the really want to make the playoffs the must win the division by sweeping the Bucs. They pissed away the 1st NO game so the cannot sleep on them this time. You know they are itching to knock the Panthers out of the playoffs race.
  9. Well sure, but that's completely beyond the point in that post and this particular back and forth discussion. These last few posts were purely about his comment of "206 yards is not an underachieving post" and nothing else besides that, nothing to do with this award.
  10. I was thinking about that when I was thinking of posting this question in the bye week. It the "recent" past..... it was a reg flag to see a player with more than one school.....now its almost common to have 3.....I forget the player,he was a DE and he had 6 schools in 6 years.....a god dang mercenary
  11. Yes, agree. Ben Johnson 2nd. This could change, but you can’t overlook Vabrel.
  12. Its not based solely on yards. Never has been. It takes in all aspects if the game performance.
  13. Bobby Brown (backup DL, signed this offseason...like you don't know.....) Demani Richardson (UDFA STer that stuck since last year) You got one new guy that gets like 12 snaps and a STer that gets like 7 only on ST. I thought it would stump many for a day or two.
  14. Yeah I've heard that a million times. That's proven to be false. He doesn't have the strongest arm but its strong enough. He sees the field well enough to be effective. His problem is mental because he doesn't want to screw up, which leads to him screwing up. When he plays free he does rather well. But I still want another qb brought in because I think he will struggle with that all his career.
  15. There is no way I'm going to try and do the research into this, but I wonder what the answer to this question would be if it wasn't just where a player finished their career, but just played in general. In today's NCAA portal landscape, some NFL teams could be carrying like 15-20 players who all played for the same school at some point, lol

  17. This is some weird mental gymnastics you're trying to do here by now twisting it into extrapolating one game's stats out for a full season. Especially since your post that I was responding to never mentioned TD's, you simply said that 206 yards wouldn't be a bad passing game in today's NFL. I'm not extrapolating anything out to a full season, I was responding specifically to you saying in today's NFL, 206 passing yards isn't an underachieving stat line. So unless you don't think being 20th in something out of 32 would be "underachieving", all I did was point out how the facts of today's NFL season contradict what you said. That throwing for 206 yards in a game is clearly an underachieving stat line for today's NFL. And if your next argument is going to be "well you're looking at season long passing averages and comparing that to one game", then that also just hurts your argument. As if you're trying to say a one game performance is deserving of winning an award, then it should fall in the upper levels of the season long averages, not the bottom.
  18. He can't function because he doesn't have an NFL arm, can't see the middle of the field behind the DLine for approximately 15 yards and doesn't make up for any of these shortcomings with an incredible football brain and / or athleticism. People were making Brees comparisons. If you listened to Brees on commentary a) he's clearly doing basically zero film work these days (Romo used to clearly do loads) but b) even he was calling out clear pressures e.g. "They're simulating pressure here, so you probably have to get it out quickly". He used to obliterate us because he knew what we were running. Young clearly has no clue what the opposition is doing.
  19. I wouldn’t count ATL or NO out, in those games. Divisional games are a different kind of animal.
  20. Winn er Winner, dang I thought this would be harder for the huddle. Congrats to Both. SC is #1 with 5. Bama is just like the remaining 3 players, @OldhamA Ray was the other you missed DLman LaBryan Ray. ND also is where thee legend JJJ is form. A&M is the school I thought would be the hardest to guess.
  21. I would be nice if they dropped a game but we most likely are going to have to sweep them if we want the division
  22. How many sub 200 yard games are others having? You're missing the forest for the trees. You are fixated on the wrong thing. His issues are he cannot function unless he gets in a rhythm and he struggles to recover when he makes mistakes. Thats why we need a qb. Not because he's only average 150 yards a game.
  23. 3 TD per game would be the 1st rated TD passing game in the NFL this year at 39 blowing Stafford out by 7. Do we think that's accurate extrapolated across the full season? See how stupid an argument that is?
