  1. Past hour
  2. Joe Judge sucked ass too, no doubt. But at least he sucked about as relatively quietly as someone can suck in the media capital of the world that is NYC. Rhule was the big splash. Make a big splash flop like Rhule in NYC and it's THE big story in the NFL.
  3. Teams don't usually cut fifth-round picks in the preseason. I'd be surprised to see Evans get cut, but who knows with these guys.
  4. Deontae Johnson and XL were getting open last year. They just couldn't catch the ball. You're making this complicated to make AT fit the container you've made for him. Shorter routes don't need as much separation, because the defense isn't allowed to touch you. If you catch the ball, in 1 on 1 you are basically unstoppable. Ricky Prohel was going dad mode on a bunch of 4-3 defenses 20 years ago. The game has changed so much since then, I don't see how its relevant.
  5. Carolina's offense doesn't produce. Part of that, is we have WRs that can't get open and can't do anything with the ball in their hands. We live in 3 WR sets. And we choose to put an old, slow, no YAC guy there paired w/ our weaker armed QB. We make life hard.
  6. It's about production. Not about statistical leaders necessarily. And separation doesn't mean as much since its basically 2 hand touch in the secondary now.
  7. My Giants fan buddy never misses an opportunity to thank me for the Panthers saving them from making that mistake. Tepper was strutting around flexing hard thinking he'd pulled off a coup stealing the next great NFL coach out from under the nose of NYC. LOL
  8. Yeah, the perennial contenders are perennial contenders in large part because they consistently draft well. The perennial bottom dwellers are perennial bottom dwellers in large part because they consistently draft poorly. A situation like the Belichick/Brady Pats is a rarity where a team continues to dominate despite drafting poorly in large part because quality aging vets are willing to sign at a discount to ring chase.
  9. Yeah I wasn’t meaning that they were drafted close together was just comparing who we drafted when we lost the Super Bowl vs who the Eagles got in the same situation because players falling to the Eagles was brought up.
  10. We traded for Mike Jackson last August. If we got that level of player that wouldn't be insignificant
  11. There are occasional big trades during the final preseason week, but it's definitely not the norm. There's also the guarantee factor for vets on the roster Week One that makes a lot of teams wait till Week Two to go after veteran players
  12. there is not a post in huddle history where I discredit AT's hands. slot is the easiest spot on the field to get separation and AT can't. WHOEVER you put there, pending they aren't horrific, is going to be a statistical leader on the team given we have Bryce Young playing QB.
  13. Not good having some guys who are going to playing some meaningful stats showing bad scores in the preseason
  14. I mean, let the record show.....I have long been on the AT rant before the Renfrow project was even a possibility. I have been on the big 3 for Bryce since the day he was drafted. slot, TE, and rec RB. I still contend we are building an O for someone that isn't BY....so what's the point. Pick a direction. The Carolina No Man's Land thing is just my ultimat pet peeve. and while I 100% am ALL IN on my guys comeback, I am on record Renfrow doesn't fit what a BY O needs either. He is just a low ceiling chain mover. BY needs a playmaker at slot more so than any other WR position.
  15. Today
  16. His college highlight reel would rival anyone's. His college lowlight reel would also rival anyone's. LOL
  17. Ooof for the loss on that one. I only saw a few and I also remember how bad he was throwing on the run as a rookie.... oof the first time they made the playoffs with him he missed a two yard swing pass on fourth down with the game on the line by 10 yards because he was moving.
  18. I lived in Colorado at the time and virtually all the Wyoming games were locally televised. I'd bet money that I watched more Josh Allen college games than anyone else on this board.
  19. Yeah and this was trading two 6ths for a starter, as well.
  20. Yeah, 100%. We SHOULDN'T be in the position where he is getting this volume. The hope is with Coker/XL having a year of development and TMac coming in, that should spread things around and lessen that raw need. In theory....
  21. Lol had to laugh at that although some truth to that I very much doubt you have watched anything of him at Wyoming.... lol. And almost all of those were him throwing in the run. Which he has improved on probably 2000% at the NFL level lol.
