  1. Past hour
  2. I'm more interested in completion percentage and YPA (and wins of course), than yards or touchdowns. It's not too hard to imagine Young throwing for 3,900 yards in an abstract way. What is harder to imagine is who those yards are going to. That would probably require two 1000 pass catchers on our team. I don't know that we have two 1000 receivers on this team.
  3. Cool let’s make it 5 attempts less (555), happy now? Lol
  4. Today
  5. 1. Very doable. The missing angle on this is not entirely Bryce. The receivers since XL… the focus? Good hands with a good hands. Big radius. Bryce came on to throwing very catchable and well placed balls. Tmac and Our RBs have some serious yac ability. If XL keeps up with the big drops especially on 3rd down… he better watch out. 2. There are going to be a ton of defensive breakdowns. 4 wr sets with dudes who catch everything? I wouldn’t be surprised to see it closer to 400/6 3. I guess? I don’t know how this is calculated. His int numbers will get higher once more film is available on him. 4. I’m calling 10 wins on a homer take. Hey, why not. The knockers need to realize the panthers have never assembled an offense like this so assigning typical I don’t like x QB expectations may need augmentation.
  6. Don't really care about stats. Stats can be very misleading. T2G is a perfect example of YAC making a QB look stats good. Bryce can make 40 perfect passes with 40 drops and the stat lines show he had an awful game. Can he lead sustained drives and make the key plays when necessary? Does he put the team in a position to win? Is he leading the offense or just part of of the machine? That's all I really care about.
  7. figured some of y'all may be interested, just happened to see this deal on an authentic jersey for $38. https://slickdeals.net/f/18284842-adidas-men-s-charlotte-fc-24-25-home-authentic-jersey-sharp-blue-white-38-free-shipping?src=frontpage
  8. Love this stuff. I am very interested in what this weekend shows us. I believe it is rookies, UDFA and try-outs. So they should have a good group of players to watch and evaluate.
  9. OK Plus or minus 30 yards. You got my point though.
  10. Being a run dominant team, it limits passing attempts per game to mid 30s and I think that will be about 220 yds per game
  11. We are building this team to be a run first offense. Bryce has the weapons to keep teams honest so they can't stack the box. I don't want the term of game manager but Young needs to make the plays to keep the running lanes open. To me it isn't about his personal stats. I think if we manage 125 yds rushing and 250 or so through the air we are going to be in most games. I think Evero gives us a quality defense, and we are going win a lot more games than most predict on this forum. I think with the added weapons and the massive influx of defensive talent we are going to see a competitive team and a fun season.
  12. When was the last time we had a competent head coach and GM. Polin and Capers?
  13. They won my vote of confidence for this year
  14. I really like the way this team is trending. Morgan and Canales rookie campaign saw them do some questionable picks but, they also did some really good things. Especially addressing the offensive line. Young had such a disastrous rookie season where his confidence was nowhere to be seen. You can attribute part of this to a terrible offensive line. So, we focused on the O-line. We then brought in several defensive free agents that were supposed to compliment Brown. Once Brown went down those players could not hold the line. 2025 we focused on defense in Free Agency and brought in several good players. We then added more talent in the draft. I think we have competition in several areas where Vets are not guaranteed to be starters. Our offensive line is pretty set with some good backups. Our defensive line is going to be a war for who comes out to be the starters. All in All, we are leaps and bounds much better than 2023 roster. Canales made some rookie head coach mistakes but grew as the season progressed. He got our QB, who was starting to look like a huge bust, playing with confidence and poise. Now it appears Young is moving upwards. Maybe he is a QB whisperer. After Young started to play better our offense was fun to watch. Morgan knows football and knows what he wants in his players. It appears to me that not only are these players he's drafted really good and got great value for them, but they are also high motor, intense players. Our defense, in the past, was always the key to our success. I think Morgan is building a great defense. I know it is too soon to tell but I believe we may have a tandem that will be around a long time. It would be nice to see Morgan/Canales be in the same class as Lynch/Shanahan and Beane/McDermott. I know many Huddlers will overreact, but I truly believe we have a tandem that will be around a long time. TIME WILL TELL. Go Panthers
  15. I am actually really excited about this kid. One thing that really jumped off watching his highlights was he almost is too fast or almost over pursues. You can get away with that stuff in college but the NFL these guys are stronger and more "slippery". Little things that can be corrected but he seems to have a motor which is always a plus!
