  1. Past hour
  2. They want us to pay part of his salary. Fùck 'em. They want him, they pay!
  3. People keep forgetting about that game like it didn't happen. Sure, the Cardinals and the Falcons were defeated, but it took overtime. Against the real competition for the division, we are so, so far behind. If Baker can play even slightly more consistent on a play to play basis, Tampa Bay could be a dark horse for the Bowl. He's pretty consistent game to game and now he's really got it down to play to play.
  4. It would be worse not to sign him and then watch him go to a team and hold it down until he is 35. I am guessing Morgan got some positive news about the knee and decided it was worth the risk.
  5. It was mentioned earlier in this thread, and then again just below you. Adam is helping Bryce call out the defensive play, and helping with protections it seems. It becomes more obvious when he's out of the game and our offense looks like post chorizo soft baby poo.
  6. Well, we don't care either. If the Vikings want him this year, they're gonna have to pay.
  7. I don't have any attachment to Thielen, and I think a fourth is arguably a waste of time. If they want him, they're going to have to act like they want him. Otherwise we can just keep him. We're likely not missing out on a damned thing by keeping him.
  8. Either way he's out of here next year for nothing. You guys can shout into the void about what you think he's worth the league doesn't care.
  9. You can't rationally blame that on Thielen. I believe Thielen is declining, like all players do, but you talk about him like he's been dogsh¡t or something. His play arguably and rationally is worthy of a third.
  10. To be clear. By definition the players considered to be "assets" here actually have a long term future. Thielen does not fall into that category as he has no future here and we have three (arguably four) promising young WR's already on the roster. And we already have veterans Moore and Renfrow. I think there are people in this thread mistaking their own personal attachment for actual value.
  11. I'd like to see Mike Remmers get a shot at starting for RT. Can't imagine he'd be that much worse than Chandler, right?
  12. I'm not saying you don't inquire. You keep saying that. I have not said that. I'm saying you don't trade two 1sts and more then pay him the highest defensive player contract in NFL history. Do that and then Bryce regresses and now you're back to QB shopping depleted of roster building resources. On other words, fuged outside of an absolute miracle.
  13. Rational is not trading away the few assets we actually have so that we can attempt to compete. The fact is, everyone behind Theilen is an unknown. I understand trading players for picks if it is in the best interest of the team, and everyone can be had for a price. I'm simply saying his value is higher than you are suggesting.
  14. that would be a great idea. Expect an injury, and if you don't get one, he can develop. Many OTs struggle as rookies--so 2026 is the year to get his replacement.
  15. Jesus Christ dude our passing offense was 32 out of 32 the year he eclipsed 1k yards with us. Be rational.
  16. All your opinion. I think that it's dumb to refuse to inquire about players at a position of need and see if you can work things out. Transactions are about the details, plain and simple.
  17. You and I didn't watch the same receiver play last year then. Theilen is still a receiver capable of 1000 yards in a season. The only reason he didn't have 1000+ last year is because he got injured. That's worth a 3rd round pick. And if we need a guy on our team to make a 3rd down conversion, who is the guy that you can depend on? Theilen is that guy.
  18. I'm going to think that our situation is improving until proven otherwise. I like many of Dan's draftees (especially this year's). What I don't necessarily like is the contract to Turk Wharton. I also didn't like the Brooks pick (because I thought Chuba was good). But nobody's perfect. I think that with another draft or two, we'll really be improved. Good GMs can draft impact players outside of the first round.
  19. Not doing dumb stuff isn't being scared. I think the Panthers should stop doing dumb stuff.
  20. I said early that this was a likely hypothetical. Dallas isn't going to let Parsons walk...unless Jerry's gone mad.
  21. Hopkins only had 170 yards in 6 games for the Titans before he was traded. He could go to a competitor, and the Titans got to dump 5.5 mil in salary and acquire another draft pick towards their inevitable rebuild. It's not the same situation.
