  1. Past hour
  2. Not doing dumb stuff isn't being scared. I think the Panthers should stop doing dumb stuff.
  3. I said early that this was a likely hypothetical. Dallas isn't going to let Parsons walk...unless Jerry's gone mad.
  4. Hopkins only had 170 yards in 6 games for the Titans before he was traded. He could go to a competitor, and the Titans got to dump 5.5 mil in salary and acquire another draft pick towards their inevitable rebuild. It's not the same situation.
  5. Dan Morgan will trade up into the second round to draft an RB with a torn ACL but won't take a 4th for a 35 year old WR who will walk and or retire for nothing next year.
  6. There's more than one way to get to a championship. It's almost criminal how you're talking about our offense. If you think the Panthers should be scared of making moves because Bryce sucks and the rest of the players suck, or that Dan and Canales suck, just say so. Don't half-step.
  7. I mean, it's all basically moot anyway. If they really turned down two 1sts, a 2nd, and Gary then they're not even entertaining trading him right now
  8. No, I'm not. I'm talking about the Panthers as if they're a team with a major question mark at the QB position. This isn't about Parsons. It's about the Panthers' current situation.
  9. If the 4th didn't involve us eating a bunch of cap for them I would've taken it. I'd honestly rather have Coker out there anyway.
  10. Like I said, you're talking about Parsons like he's just some average Joe "non QB". He's on pace to be the best pass rusher of all time. His value to a team is practically immeasurable. You don't agree, but others do, and that's why the Panthers have been listed as possible suitors.
  11. And he's gonna put up big stat numbers for 6-7 win teams if we swing this deal. That's what you want? You wanna strut around and brag about having the best pass rusher in the league while the Cowboys draft in the top 10 with our picks?
  12. You do if you don't have a QB. Find me any team that didn't have the QB position solved that has traded multiple firsts for a non-QB i the modern era. There's a reason for that.
  13. That sky ball that hung in space forever would've certainly been picked by a first team unit.
  14. Sure you do. You know what those teams did? They drafted well for years. They didn't trade massive assets for non-QBs when they didn't have the QB position solved.
  15. Perkins passes were tight and mostly accurate when he had time to throw. Impressed with him only have a couple practices. I think Plummer was looking over his shoulder last night and was straight up awful. Even his touchdown pass looked pretty bad. Perkins should make the practice squad over Plummer.
  16. Hopkins went for a 5th last year and we asked for a 3rd. Hilarious.
  17. I'm not going to let you talk about Parsons as if he isn't actually on pace to be the best pass rusher of all time. That's to be valued and looked into. It's as simple as that.
  18. You don't pass up on a young generational pass rusher unless you absolutely can't make it work. That's not hard to figure out either.
  19. Panthers reportedly asked for a third and the Vikings final offer was a 4th.
  20. Semantics don't matter. The Rams were a serious contender for a few years (hell, they still are) without their QB position solved. Hell, the Eagles were arguably the same way. People talked poo about Hurts (and still do). Let's not even talk about Carson Wentz and Nic Foles. You have to keep on building your team regardless if you're sure about the QB or not.
  21. Nah. Just wanted a temp check on the Huddle patrons after a hopeful offseason and tough preseason.
  22. I'm going to try to watch it just to see what we are up against this season.
