Quick note on a news item i just saw that's not Panthers related but is a "holy sh-t" kind of story... Damn
-
Is it weird that I find the beating the seahawks route more viable? It shouldn't be, but I have more faith in that happening.
-
I'm just tired/drained after this game. I hate that I let this team ruin my Sunday again. I think I'm gonna golf next Sunday and just check the scores from time to time. I've never been mad when I just see that they lost...it's a different story when I watch.
-
I tend to land there, but that was a 3-10 team today not a playoff opponent. I still have to stick with you can’t fairly evaluate any coach with Bryce running his offense.

Unpopular opinion - DC might be a bigger problem than Bryce

He hasn't looked at the All 22. -
I'd vote for it

Thought I remembered it being something like that...

We ain’t beating them once. -
Since I know we are stuck with Bryce my hope is that in the off season we get a real edge rusher and or ILB... its also confused the crap at me that we haven't gotten a legit receiving TE since Olsen.
-
Which is so confounding, considering the big time plays they made on 4th down against the Rams. They just cannot do it consistently. Seems like they are more relaxed and tuned in during the games they are not expected to win. Leans towards simply KNOWING you have the ability to do it. Then again, how much is Canales holding them back from it? Again, confounding!
-
Yep. Likewise, I 've always wondered why it's never "rigged" when we win. For the rigged game narrative to be believable, you have to be able to make a convincing argument that we could have won the game if it weren't. Our prior game performance vs the Saints fix makes that a more difficult task. What makes it even more difficult is when you can point to identifiable mistakes. You can certainly do that in today's game.

Team doesn't have real playmakers except for Coker. And his big plays are based on mismatches most of the time. We don't have that guy at WR, RB or TE. We have a bunch of big possession receivers and TEs. Unfortunately only one of them can catch consistently. It's time for Jimmy Horn to get more plays. He needs to be developed. Just take the lumps for 4-5 weeks, but he needs to get on the field. -
I think he implies that Bryce's remaining fans suffer from homerism of the ethnic kind. Bryce fans are desperately rallying around a fellow "Mexican" in a high profile job in an attempt to cope with what many in the Latino community regard as very dark times.
-
I'm not X and O smart enough to pinpoint the problem. But, it FEELS like everything we do on offense is a titanic struggle. Then you flip it and watch dudes just catching lasers 15 yards down the middle of the field and they are the only dude on the screen? I just don't understand what I'm watching. I'm not joking when I say it feels like a miracle every time we score. Maybe that's just me being a Panther fan.

Games aren't rigged this team is just a pretender
-
I don’t feel bad for the saints for a single second for the 2018 game on one (admittedly) badly blown call, when they got gifted a free win in the NFCC against the Vikings the year they won the Super Bowl. The refs managed to let them simultaneously execute bounty gate and throw a flag anytime an incomplete pass would stop a drive they needed on offense. It was the NFLs version of Game 6 of the infamous kings-lakers series.
-
Look, maybe offer an opinion instead of just trolling. Tyler Shough in the what, 4 games he has started has more 200 yard passing games than Bryce has all season. Is that Bryce? Is it coaching? Is it just lack of overall talent? All of those could be true at the same time. So what exactly was wrong with his take Mr. analytics? Please, do share your other worldly insights. I've been a part of this forum since around 2013, and never have I seen fans of the same team act so nasty towards each other... to what freaking gain???

We're not playing against the Panthers defense -
This is what I think. Or very similar. I think an upgrade at QB to a guy that can truly make every throw and can see the field would have things humming. Since he has been in at QB we have seen a string of unheralded QBs outshine him head to head and some of the heralded ones have just made me not want to watch any more Bryce. He can have some periods of success inside of games but is just too limited/limiting for winning NFL football. Can’t put two games together back to back. I have been ready for this to be over.

Yes and yes. Basically A) Sweep the Bucs or B) Beat the Bucs, Beat the Seahawks, Bucs lose to Miami.

We're at least a year away from any chance of making a permanent change at quarterback, and probably longer. While we're waiting on that moment, we definitely need to shore up other areas. -

I hate our bend but don't break defense in 2 minute situations. BUT, we have held teams to under the league average of 23 points in all but 3 of our losses. Don't get me wrong, it want to VOMIT watching them chunk it down the field 15+ yards at a time late in the game. One thing I don't get is how the screen game gashes us all the time yet ours pretty much always suck balls -
Don't we need help if we lose one of the Bucs games? That's certainly be the best path
-
This season was still a success in big picture for terms of the rebuild but yes it’s frustrating because the self inflicted stuff is responsible for 1-3 losses.
