For a very short time and then he is hurt or tired. Past Andy was the QB Young wished he was.
-
Knowing this guy he will come out and throw three 10 yard TD passes off of short fields and everyone will be back in the saddle.

If that question offended Legette, then he's not mentally cut out for professional sports. -
Andy is the superior QB all day long every day. Even in his current incarnation.
-
C ya.....I hope he does request a trade.

To all y’all I can read the room and understand my opinion wouldn’t be popular. I have had them before. It is what it is. I don’t need you guys to rebut my opinion thinking I would be convinced by your opinions. I have had enough of that with my unpopular Bryce opinion - which was fuging 100% right btw. I wasn’t a flip to anti Bryce I was anti Bryce ore draft. Never changed my take. Not saying That’s not saying I won’t change this one. Said at the beginning I expected missteps. You should expect them when you admittedly hire a guy before he is ready and need him to grow into the job. We are four games into the second season with a hopeless albatross around our necks playing QB. I need to see more before I join the lynch mob. His beta voice and cheerleader stuff notwithstanding, because I don’t like that. It isn’t my idea of what grown men respond to. But he was brought here to try and salvage a train wreak of a draft pick at QB which I never thought could be done, I need to see him fail with a good piece of clay, before I flush him. He did a good job with Baker. He obviously has a huge pile of poo to contend with - that btw won’t get any smaller for the next Tepper lackey. It won’t be easy for whoever. I am gonna try and stay out of the Canales party moving forward.

Panthers offensive line is probably better today that it was in 2011, unless you’ve got some wrong opinions about Byron bell you want to share. Thomas Davis played two games that year. Jon Beason played 1. Not much difference between the running backs if we’re being honest, probably a little better in 2011. You didn’t even name a defensive lineman, probably because Fua and McClain didn’t stand the test of time. Charles Johnson is who you could have named. Doesn’t matter because brown is the best player between both units. Less said about Greg hardy the better the biggest differences were cam, smith, and Olsen. And even with smith being the best WR, that 2011 team was also trotting out legadu nanee you called the 2011 team “infinitely” more talented and included two players that suited up in three games between them. Not sure you know what you’re talking about. and yeah, six wins (in a 17 game season no less) is probably a great height for DC.

Still my point is valid, he wasn't benched he was hurt. He had very little play in the preseason, which is on him and Canales, he was sluggish and bad his first game and played faster the second game but every throw to him was ass. Let's see him with a somewhat competent QB who can at least deliver the ball on time. Every catch with this team has to be a circus catch because Bryce's accuracy is poo. -
New York Times: Is Panthers QB Bryce Young a Lost Cause

Tepper and Bryce fans have much in common. -
They only way he is on the team next season is of Tepper still wants him here then. It's just a matter of how. I think Dalton has a better chance to stick around than Young.

Stop. You're comparing a proven high level pro to a second year player who had a subpar rookie season and was practically nonexistent this year before going out. You're massively reaching to create a narrative here. It was a fair question given the situation. -
They will not outright cut him until his contract is up or without another drafted qb on the roster. Those are the only options short of a trade.

Canales in his press conferences

Miami is going to romp us, McDaniel's is a good OC, He just cant rally the troops the way a proper HC does. He will coach circles around Evero though. I expect a Shoot out. -
He got better for the few games he played in last year. This year he hasn't picked up where he left off. Sound familiar?
-
Maybe. They might end up just cutting him. Too early to tell. Maybe he gets sat and then comes off the bench a little better after the rest of the team improves without him around again. Maybe they play him the entire time and no one wants him for more than a prove it cost ehich would be under his rookie contract amount. Too early to gage his value other than low range.

like 90 % of coaches dont get a chance to fail with a good QB, its not an excuse either, look what KOC did with Darnold. Now he does deserve a chance to get a QB he thinks he could at least be mediocre with which you can acquire in free agency. -

Joe Burrow was playing bad before he got hurt, you think anyone's going to ask him if he learned anything while he was injured? It's disrespectful because he wasn't benched for performance reasons, but the question is insinuating that he was. It's kinda obvious -

His 5th year option alone is worth that. -
Pretty much both teams strategy going into the game.
-
Oh they will trade him but not for peanuts. The fifth year option is worth more the Young to another team so we have to get something other than a 7th round pick.
-
This Sunday's game will be about which team can out ass the other one.
-
No he stepped up for an impossible task for a lot of money. There was a year of film and his friend that became GM had all the inside info. Im calling BS on that. He isn't a victim of Young but a willing accomplice. I think we got him because of the Young issue. Without the Young issue next year we just have the Tepper issue so maybe? It's worth a try IMO. Top pick, another ridiculous contract and if the fans are lucky the new people can negotiate better Tepper handling g to take the job.

Surely there's some team out there that will give us a 6th rounder for him. -
I get that. Can’t argue with that sentiment But if he wanted out I think I would just send him on his way. Having him on the team has done enough damage. Same as with AT, it has to work for us.
-
He was given an impossible task. If Mayfield says he sucks I will believe it. I am not believing it off of Bryce freaking Young failing because there Is no fixing that guy. Also in play, big time, do you really think Tepper can attract an upgrade? I am very skeptical of that. I am not gonna go back and forth there is a lot that has to play out - that is my position until there are further developments.
