There’s going to be a lot of fights to break up at TC this year, and I love it.

Wouldn’t having a SS playing FS help our run defense?

Frank comment about Bryce? "Excited"
CPcavedweller replied to PanthersATL's topic in Carolina Panthers
He didn't have a QB in Indy when lucky abruptly retired. Then Luck, who is the General Manager at Stanford, hires Frank to bring him in there. That says enough to me about Franks character to know the characterizations of his time here are more or less wrong, and that the blame resides with where it has always resided, and that's with Meddlin' Tepper. He's like the Scoobie Doo gang. Constantly meddling and ruining the desire of the team to win. -

And Charles Johnson is potentially the most overhyped, over paid Panthers player in franchise history. So I guess they are even. -

Frank is a man of integrity. What you describe is not only unethical but anti-thetical to the person that everyone who has been around Frank says about him. The offense was bad. Period. The team, I think, was disappointed that Wilkes wasn't retained and that the team didn't build off of the backend of 2022, instead opting for a full rebuild, again. -
Why are you all worried about his hand? It's a UCL injury you would be worried about with this, not his fuging hands. For the love of The Golden Calf of Bristol. Bryce needs to be rushed early and often. Assuming our offensive line is as good as it should be, it will make game day that much easier.
-
It could also be why our run defense sucks, and will continue to suck. Trying to mix and match FS and SS won't work, all the time.
-
Brock Purdy snapped his UCL on a similar play. I think Bryce will need this in training camp though. It will do nothing but make him better moving forward so I say let them contact, just preferably avoid the arm once he's throwing.

Chatty is a potential top pair D-man. Not giving him up for a 1-year guy. And I'm not against an offer sheet for Rossi as a 2C.

I member Charles Johnson meeting Frank and he didn't have ANY idea who he was. Charles called the exchange weird and said he got weak vibes from Frank....

99% "shows" and "movies" they been putting out since the end game are not worth pirating. They are putting the too big to fail saying to a test. Losing 100 million after 100 mill hasn't stop them either. The public will watch any and all slop if nostalgia is at the Forefront.

Houdini or Cena?

It's not just buying it, its also ruining the IP into the ground and milking it until the cow is bones and keep doing it. God dam I haven't watch anything star wars in 20 years, I think the clone war cartoon was it. Shocked Darth Vader and the alien haven't married each other as another lead show idea

Eisen is already rejoining ESPN. His daily show is headed to ESPN Radio (with a corresponding live stream on ESPN+)

Makes sense. I guess I stuck in the old traditional defenses. Always appreciate your insight.

ugh..... Joe.....Joe person has improved since he left the observer. He's still one of the worst question askers and I can not stand his voice over 15 mins. But writing-wise he improved greatly.... -
College is different. You do not touch the money. QB is the top money. https://www.tiktok.com/@thericheisenshow/video/7503597686759787822 Jared verse had problems adjusting to NFL, btw holy lee fug.......I didn't think you lose a all-world 99 monster and get another one that fast???

With Evero's high zone looks, it's all based around disguises in the secondary as much as the front 7 with a bandit-type approach. So it makes sense to have guys that have some fluidity that can play houdini technique on QBs. Therefore, I think it's smarter to load up on SS these days who have those instincts and smarts. You can use them interchangeably whereas if a guy is an FS-- you know he's getting FS deep assignments. In my view, the FS is the least valuable position in the lineup these days. I firmly believe a SS can play FS much more easily than a FS can play SS. FSs have that outfielder poacher mentality but don't see the short field as well and usually don't have the quickness, which is why they're back there. SSs have the quickness and alertness to play both spots. They mess around with man assignments, drop back into deep zone and have delayed blitzes in these Fangio-inspired high zone defenses. We also play 3 deep at times, where we play cover-3 but disguised as cover-2. So it's good to have a backlog of this prototype. So with our personnel, you have SS guys who can play off eachother to bait QBs in our two-high zone looks, it's super valuable disguising who is playing high zone and who has a delayed play in the box. I think the playmaker in these defenses becomes the nickel and dime more of the time because its the safeties and LBs baiting and disguising while they're sneakily getting the right look in the field of play for INTs. Just my two cents.

Couple things. One. I've been pretty vocally pro Canales all things considered. Two. Protecting the football is absolutely a real concern. The 6 total turnovers (not including another fumble that was luckily recovered) Bryce Young has in the first two games of 2023 and 2024 very much confirm this.

Panthers have 30th best LB corp. Lose the best player and play caller. Part of the Huddle- " You guys are upset over losing Jewell?? " What the fug is this about?? No the season isnt off, but re-read the first couple lines until its understood. I think the total starts for the whole group is around 30, all of them came last year during the weeks where Panthers were on the 4th string LB and signed windom off Steelers PS. Baze the current play caller was a career STer and got a break last year at the bright age of 28. He started 12 games for the first time. Wallace started 8 before he got injuries. It's the worst LB group and a huge test to the "LBs don't matter, so don't pay them" What happens if Wallace or Baze miss time due to injuries like they did last year. UDFA Bam is the savior?? Lions are meeting with LB white, they also had LB problems....
