  1. Past hour
  2. Guess who is leading the Steelers in tackles? Mr. medical red flag himself. Damn, I'm still pissed we passed him up, not once, but twice.
  3. Bryce doesn’t generate average production from the QB spot…. so a Panther team with little invested in their D becomes overly reliant to win games in ways they haven’t structured the team to win them. that factors. was Bryce horrific? All things being equal did he lose the game? No. But everyone isn’t judging all things equally. PJ Walker isn’t held to the same expectations as prime Cam Newton. And at some point, you just have to acknowledge Bryce doesn’t carry the load anyone in his position is expected too. Shough just happens to make that glaring. Bryce being throughly outplayed….is a key reason we lost. The PJ Walker bar isn’t Bryce’s and folks have to raise it
  4. Bingo.... Completely clean interior pocket..... dude did a 7 step drop out of the shotgun and then Completely ignored the rush if he steps up both rushers get washed out because they didnt have contain.
  5. I get your point but personally I’ll take an Andy Reid any day.
  6. Remember when people were saying, "So glad we got Rozebum and Wallace back"......as I said.....doesn't matter. Possibly makes us worse.
  7. Was the sack credited to Ickey? I know this was a second hand write up and not all inclusive.
  8. I dont care what anyone says. Stupid penalties cost us this game. They were about to kick a fg on a 4th and 6 and we were lined up offside and make it a 4th and 1 and they go for it and get it and turn it into a TD. Hitting sliding QBs and giving them free yards, illegal hands to the face on defense giving them free yards and first downs. Division games arent going to be high scoring. They will always be close usually and these type of things matter.
  9. Yes, it's because we don't prioritize it. A big-bodied individual with a pulse that can somewhat block is pretty much all the qualifications required.
  10. It wasn't the play calling or the preparation. It was the execution and on field communication in the final 11 minutes of the game with over an 80% win probability. It began on 3rd and short inside the opponents 40. Bryce audibled out to a QB run. TMac was set up for a one on one on the outside. Bryce identified the 6 gap property as the greatest chance of success, but failed to realize Chuba was confused on the audible leading to the blocking break down between Chuba and Tremble on Granderson. They were suppose to double Granderson and Tremble peels off to block the safety allowing Bryce to choose to go to the inside or outside off the double team based on where the safety commits. Chuba also messed up the 4th and 1 with poor vision and not trusting to go off the block of Ekwonu into a sealed running lane for an easy 1 yard gain. Why Chuba thought doing a lateral jump cut to the right side of the line when it was a dive to the left is puzzling.
  11. You got me there, Expecting Ransom to pirouette mid air to avoid grounded man is a tad more difficult I guess.
  12. I don't agree with the "earned the right to stay" part. I think DC is a bottom 5 head coach.
  13. okay so its Bryce fault they get a holding call and et backed up. Come on man. You know we arent good at 3rd and longs. He didnt turn the ball over and he dropped dimes to Coker and TMAC shouldve caught that one. Granted a little behind but very catchable. Im not a Bryce supporter at all but I call it how I see it. He didnt cost us that game yesterday. Nuff said.
  14. It’s slightly different. Most of those teams aren’t doing it because their QBs are incapable…. so the message to everyone is a little different.
  15. When a defense gives up a 12 minute drive that is really hurting the offense. The defense could not get off the field. The offense had 7 possessions. Seven. They did not have many opportunities. We also might as well have spiked the ball every 1st down with the predictable run game.
  16. trying to post in a medical office, never a good idea
  17. Thats more on Canales plenty of teams use the TE or RB for it
  18. Also, I remember the RG3 saying you should just QB sneak for a quarter of a yard. Bryce doesnt have the strength for that. He is way to small to lunge forward.
  19. If your #1 overall pick can't be counted on to will your team to a win vs an opponent who is 2-10 vs the rest of the NFL..... yeah
  20. Hmmmm convention to mention the first four drives when we had a total of 8.... FYI here are the last 4.....
  21. Up a TD in 4Q with field position. Half a yard for a first down. 11 minutes on the clock. The probability of making a 52 yard FG is 71%, the probability of having a FG blocked is 2%, and the probability of a FG block being returned for a TD is 15%. The probability of a defense stuffing a run is 44%, the probability of a fumble is 1%, and the probability of a fumble being returned for a TD is 0.5%. With the lead, is a 15% success rate increase worth the 100% increase in turnover chance with a 2900% scoring opportunity increase for the defense? The opposing team only has 2 more drives with a possible 3rd drive in 4Q. The probability of an offense scoring back to back on their final 2 drives with long fields after only scoring 10 points in the first 50 minutes of the game is 10%. So, kicking the FG and missing it would still give the opposing team the same probability of scoring on their next 2 drives while giving them an increased chance of scoring on a blocked FG. Win probability would increase by 5-10% with a 1st down at that point and 10-15% with a FG. So, is an increase of 5% win probability worth the risk of messing up the FG? Keep in mind, the play call had an open gap that the RBs vision failed to see leading to the failed 4th down run. A failed FG would have been worse and it wasn't a chip shot. Canales made the right call by trusting Bryce, Chuba, the OL, and Evero at that moment. All 4 of them messed up though. This is also assuming the Panthers would not have any success of scoring a FG on their final 2 drives or having the defense keep the offense to FGs for the remainder of the last 11 minutes of the game, which we all were not factoring in. I don't believe taking the chance of the FG going wrong versus the 4th and 1 going wrong is worth lowering the Saints probability of winning by 5% as you are in control of the game at 80%+ win probability. The HC should challenge their team to play like a champion at that point and execute to win at least half of their matchups for the next 11 minutes. Canales made the right choice and trusted the team.
  22. well if he (bryce) was 6'5" 245 lbs than yea we could but he isnt which is why I wasnt a advocate for him in the first place. But as for yesterdays game he played well enough for us to win without the defense getting penalties all the time. And all the teams have scrambling QBs who are big.
  23. We have a bottom 3rd QB, leading a bottom 3rd offense. yay! PFF graded him 2nd best Sunday on Carolina’s offense.
  24. Only here and there. There is no logical discussion to be had about anything because everything just becomes about Bryce and how it’s all his fault. He played pretty well yesterday. I’d give him a B. No turnovers, great touchdown throw in a bad spot. Key conversions with his legs, did a great job avoiding sacks with crumbling pockets. But we all just wanna make it about Bryce still. It’s so tiring. There are real discussions to be had about our head coach, defensive coordinator, offensive line. But no. Must poo on Bryce.
  25. We literally scored on 3 of our 4 first possessions and they had one possession of 11 mins. Defense let us down on this one with penalties.
