  1. Past hour
  2. We just got drug by the 4 win, new coaching staff Jags 26-10... a non competitive game. That's a pretty straight forward stat.
  3. This 5 min video, I share knowing we turn the corner now to the Cardinals it is a qb driven league. Let’s, as if we don’t know, see what Young looks like this week we can point to the sun, the moon, whatever, but 3 badly timed turnovers and what should’ve been a 4th no more excuses

I originally thought no in the moment, but after going back and watching the film I can comfortably say yes. TLaw did not deal with nearly the adversity Bryce did. For example, Josh Hines-Allen tallied eight pressures against the Panthers. The entire Panthers' pass rush, on the other hand, had a grand total of six pressures from the group. They got outproduced by two by a single player on the opposing team that was rushing against a back-up swing tackle. Even the craziest Bryce haters can admit that that would cause problems even for prime Cam Newton. I can also admit though that TLaw did not make nearly the same type of mistakes that Bryce did, but that was because of the near lack of adversity faced. Where is the top-10 performance post? I've checked four threads so far and nothing... and why in the world did you take it at face value without doing your due diligence?
  5. when i see chuba break two tackles on a checkdown and take it for a touchdown, I always thikn "wow, that was a BTT (Big Time Throw)"

One of ya'll posted it. Screenshot in one of the threads. I quit paying years ago for that stuff. Did Bryce Young outplay Trevor Lawrence Sunday Icege? Yes or no. How about that.

Their employees were hired to work in house and now ran a draft for thr GM and does who knows whatelse. Completey normal stuff. No chance of that relationship producing any unethical behavior whatsoever...and didn't PFF grade this draft highly?
  8. Discussed elsewhere... Just taking his hands off doesn't mean a miraculous recovery is on the horizon. Still have to do the work, and in this case the work is an extremely hard thing to do in even the best of circumstances.
  9. It's strange that folks are still caught up on BTTs when the methodology has been shared and we have the game film to back it. This isn't to say PFF is without fault. Their are definitely instances where a grade is questionable, but I've found that more often than not that the film backs the grade. I'm hoping to get through the all-22 for the defense today so I can see what they saw that I didn't in regards to Moehrig. I'm still in denial over his grade, but I've seen a couple of clips as well where he was out of position (and another where a Jags player put him on his ass with a chip).
  10. Story was that Morgan was the only one in the prior setup who was willing to tell Tepper he was wrong rather than just rolling over.

No they didn't. Bryce's Week 1 QB grades and where they rank against other QBs for week 1: Offense: 71.1 (19th) Passing: 71.8 (14th) Rushing: 56.2 (30th) Fumble: 29.1 (30th) Again... Where in the world are you getting that PFF had Bryce ranked as a top-10 performance last Sunday? You're out here beating the "PFF is fraudulent" drum while doing nothing but sharing fraudulent info yourself.
  12. That's pretty much always been my preference. His dad was a perennial backup, as I recall. Liked what I saw of him in week one after a rough start.

also, let's not worry that they ranked him #9 overall to the avoid the maybe everyone was also bad logic being applied. Let's just stick with how high of a grade they gave him. Because it's not just where he was ranked. They gave him a strong grade for the day he had. so again, if Bryce Young's performance on Sunday equals a solid grade in your ratings system (he was really bad)......then something is off with your grading. I got no need to argue how wild that rating is they gave him Sunday. It just flat out is. If you can't smell something is off with PFF at times, then nothing would convince you. It's been discussed for years that whatever they do over there (while good at many things).....often spits out some real bonkers stuff ( I don't know the why). BY week 1 highlights how bonkers they sometimes get.
  14. Hmmm I heard that before about another freak we drafted
  15. This. We’re not winning anything in the next 2-3 years anyway. Rebuild (again) and maybe by 2030 we’ll be ready to compete again.
  16. TBH, Nussmeier looks like the best of the group at this point.
  17. I think the smart thing to do would to bring in a vet starter, and sit whatever rookie, regardless of who it is, and let him sit a year.
  18. So more people to fire when this crew gets the boot is what I am hearing. It makes the PFF grades more understandable too.
  19. ...has the base qualifications to get him in the door. But once you start looking at the other factors... concerns arise
  20. When I read a lot of threads and posts on here, I believe It's possible some of you might be on the PFF payroll.
  21. Ohh big time throws is a PFF generated stat. They use it in their grading system and it's been around since thr 2010s. Damn no wonder PFF was always all over the place. It's completely subjective and presented as a fact lol
  22. we have a bunch of PFF people at Carolina now in the analytics department. A bunch of old articles about how valuable those folks have been to Dan Morgan in shaping the team the past 2 years. Analytics certainly has it's place. But I think it can also be taken to hogwash levels in sports.
  23. He’s actually nothing like Anthony Richardson, but I see where you were going with this. He is a much more polished passer and can actually throw the football. The disclaimer is that he isn’t going to be a day 1 NFL starter.
