Observer Projections / *Updated Panthers Waiver Additions

I agree the coaches are going into the season with this group, so he has to make the best of it. My post was about when BY returned last year. Easily the worst receiving group in the NFL. Easily. So the fact that they were 30th in passing isn't far fetched. The plan was for Thielen and Johnson to lead the group, not two rookie WRs and a rookie TE. -
What about a catch in the middle of the field? You do you want them to maintain control as they fall? Thats the catch? Having different rules for the endzone vs everywhere else. *I’m not arguing one way vs the other. But a catch has to be universal rules IMO regardless of location of play
-
Yeah, identical call to last night. Which is the rule. They shouldn’t be TDs given the rule is the rule. Announcers in both games doing all they can to get the fans mad though…as both games the announcers seem to basically disregard and play dumb about the catch rules.
-
I get that the whole catch/no catch thing is always going to involve some gray area stuff but action occurring out of bounds just shouldn't matter. The receiver caught the ball, possessed it in the end zone then the DB knocked it lose as he's going to the ground after he's already out of bounds. That action shouldn't impact anything. It's happening out of bounds.
-
Which is strange because roosters typically run better than they fly
-
Right. If you catch the ball control it and get two (!) feet down - play over and touchdown. What happens after is irrelevant. It shouldn’t have constituted an overturn of the call on the field.
-
The whole "surviving the ground" thing need to just go away. If you catch the ball and possess it inbounds it shouldn't matter if you lose control of it going to the ground out of bounds.
-
Horrible call. Just like last night.

It's maybe a deal where both are right- he did come in out-of-shape and he did put in efforts to get in shape. Im old and old enough to member most players used TC to get into shape other than the current "stay in shape, so you don't get out of shape". I mean give me millions and I would stay in top shape for a fact. It's goes with being a pro these days.

Scourton - Collapsed Lung, Week-to-Week

He'll only take a reasonable deal if there is no market, which, again, is a sign it wasnt the best move. - Today

Yea that is sad the state of NBA, I quit them years ago and just stay at arms length normie status on the hornets. Honestly the deal that messes me up the most about the NBA is that guys have become females about shoes. Years ago I was awoken to some YouTube vids of "males" showing off their shoes or should I say sneaker collection and what the fug...... I need to go ahead and invest in male makeup since I missed the tight jeans wave, I know the makeup is coming too....

Thats true but it also ignores the fact that the "market" said the number 1 RB wasnt worth going before that given the injury. We only have strong rumor that Dallas would take him. The end result is a guy who will only play half of his rookie contract. So even if he turns out good, we won't be able to monetize that. In other words you are putting yourself in a position where instead of a home run you have to hit a grandslam for the gamble to payoff. Bad odds. All im saying. Bad odds.
