  1. Past hour
  2. Division rival. I'll NEVER root for any of them under any circumstances.
  3. Exactly, insert nice things and not being able to have them quote here.
  4. I cannot stand them. They are winning the division repeatedly now only because we are failing to put a decent product on the field. As we slowly become relevant again, this division is wide open. Baker Mayfield does not deserve to be handed a division trophy every year due solely to the ineptitude of the other teams in the division. I also hate that Lavonte David gets to play a seemingly twenty year career and we only got a blink of an eye with Luke.
  5. that's one thing Clemson football has going for it from a fan perspective. It's about as close as you can find to the old way of things. So you pretty much can follow a kid for 4 years/develop and root for them vs just tuning in for this year's rentals that probably come from "rivals" or wherever. Clemson doesn't need to join the SEC. That kills the SC rivalry. Which is basically built in joy even when your team sucks because of tradition. Money killing tradition/rivalry is the death of college football.
  6. Is it that or are their fans less offensive?
  7. Honestly, my interest in college sports has waned tremendously in recent years. Hard to keep up with it when you don't recognize the names of 80% of the roster because of the constant transfers. I mean, we have a kid suiting up for the basketball team this year who is like 24 and has been playing pro ball in Europe for several years. And we're not the only ones with that type of player. WTF is that??? They're really gonna have to figure out something going forward or they're going to kill the golden goose.
  8. Probably about time to start a new CFB thread…
  9. money is ruining college sports. and it won't stop until college sports isn't worth watching. I don't care about UNC football but UNC basketball, Duke and all that......it's sad to see that die.
  10. Sounds like UNC is heading to the SEC. This has been whispered about for years but never this loudly and widespread. I mean, you have Paul Finnebaum the guy known as the "Voice of the SEC" saying it's gonna happen now.
  11. I have always thought that was crazy since they show nothing else from that season at all!

Edgar Salmingo, Jr. ✌ @PanthersAnalyst · 47m First time seeing Nic Scourton mentioned with a good play this training camp And Shemar Bartholomew again with a play today Corey Thornton is a CB who's been getting a lot of run this camp, I wonder if the coaches like him Kassidy Hill @KassidyGHill · 45m Trevin Wallace said after Josey Jewell (concussion) was released, former Panther LB Shaq Thompson texted him encouragement, telling him it was his time to step up. 15. https://x.com/PanthersAnalyst/status/1950209602680746000 Edgar Salmingo, Jr. ✌ @PanthersAnalyst · 1h #Panthers sign Ja'seem Reed, one of 3 WRs who tried out yesterday Interesting choice to cut Dan Chisena. Not the worst WR on the roster, same with Amare Barno for the EDGEs Seems like they're releasing bubble guys early instead of waiting until cut day so other guys get a shot Mike Kaye @mike_e_kaye · 1h Austin Corbett anchors very well at center and Andy Dalton zooms the ball over the middle to Jimmy Horn on a deep cross for a TD in 11s. Shemar Bartholomew with a pick on Bryce Young on the next play. Gabe McDonald @GabeMcDonald_ · 1h #Panthers CB Shemar Bartholomew with a solid day so far. Tight coverage by Shemar Bartholomew. Coker couldn’t come down with it. 11v11

  18. And I am super excited about him. But he's a 6th round rookie..its going to take some time.
  19. Today
  20. I love the roster churning. I also heard Jimmy was talking about breaking the combine 40 record and then wasn't even close. Just odd to me the legend of Jimmy's speed. He was also apparently terrible at the 3 cone. Odd.
  21. We needed receivers. Period. When your best receiver was an aging over the hill 34 year old vet you need receivers. I think those of you expecting T-Mac to be a slow plodding soft guy like Funchess are gonna be surprised. He doesn't have the physicality of KB but he's not soft like Funchess and he's quicker and faster than both. Expect something similar to Drake London. He had two solid seasons with trash QB play then blossomed in year three to put up nearly 1300 yards.
  22. We brought in 3 safeties and 3 CB's as UDFA. Not sure about all the moves in the last 3 months With DMo constantly churning the bottom of the roster.
  23. Sounding more like Jimmy Horn Jr is going to turn out like Shi Smith. That blurb is like something you'd write about a jugs machine. Really puts the ball where the players need it and helps us work on our catching. 10/10.
