  1. Past hour
  2. A sugartit my do some good. I bet you all don't know what that is? No, it's not dirty talk.
  3. I added a link to the stat card in my post above.
  4. They most certainly did. If we had put as much time in Sam and we have Bryce, where would we be now?
  5. Just say what you mean. Which is probably people who don’t want Bryce are ruining the team. The board. Your entire football fanning activities. Poor thing.
  6. You have his stats? Would love to see his plus minus. Miller was atrocious in that last 10 min
  7. Evans is still in his first year so the learning process is still in full swing. Tremble and Evans should have a firmer grasp to say the least. But as critical as we can be of the group and the ridiculous inconsistency we should keep coming back to Canales. Where is the development? As I said in another thread he needs to relinquish playcalling duties and focus on the the moving parts of the team as a whole. His stubborn resistance to this is going to end with him getting fired. Just my opinion.
  8. Last several years have been about building up the O to the detriment of the defense. And on a his version of a good day our QB tops out at about 170 pass yards…..and can’t lead the O over 17 points vs a bad team. big picture, the Saints loss wasn’t a defensive failure.
  9. Every year from 2013-2018 we spent more money on offense than we did on defense Handed out a 5 year 55 million dollar deal (30gtd) for a left tackle As far as draft picks… From 2011-2018 Two 2nd rounders, one 3rd rounder and two 4th rounders on OL Two 1st rounders on WR’s Two 2nd rounders on WR’s A top 10 pick (1st round) on a RB/WR 2011-2018… 3 winning seasons From 2023 (the year we drafted Bryce) to this year… Draft picks spent on offense: 10 Draft picks spent on defense: 10 From 2020 - 2022 Picks spent on offense: 9 Picks spent on defense: 14 special teams: 1 So last 6 drafts that’s 19 picks on offense 24 picks on defense 1 pick on special teams lol tough look
  10. No Jarvis, likely no Martinook. Will be interesting so see who draws in. FYI Millers stat card from last nights game was abysmal. Ghosts stats were outstanding. https://x.com/hockeystatcards/status/2002397575513539017?s=46
  11. I thought he was basically foisted on Reich. Not sure who was responsible for hiring him. Fitterer? Tepper with his Rooney Rule lite draft pick aspirations? And under contract and subsequently foisted on Canales. Who would we get? Really don’t need to retool to 4-3, I don’t think. So a 3-4.
  12. Blow out the Falcons. Blown out by the Patriots. Squeak by the Dolphins with a QB they just benched (who is Bryce Young's best comp). Squeak by the Cowboys. Squeak by the Jets in an abysmal offensive performance. Blown out by the Bills. Squeak by the Packers. Lose to the Saints starting a rookie QB who has a career day. Squeak by the Falcons. Lose in embarrassing fashion to the 49ers in primetime. Squeak by the Rams. Lose to the Saints with the same rookie QB with the division and playoffs on the line. When you see it all in print it really isn't impressive. Could argue we need both a new QB and a new head coach.
  13. Right. And people are crying about the play calling. And about gaslighting. Yet here we are in a gaslight thread that claims we blamed Bryce Young for the loss. I mean, if you ran a poll, you would have probably fewer than 10% blaming Bryce for Sunday’s loss.
  14. This should be Duke in this game. The rightful and undisputed ACC champion in football for 2025. We will just never know if the Devils could've rode that magic to the National Championship.
  15. You know why we've spent so much in FA on defensive contracts for next year? Could have something to do with next to nothing spent in the draft on defense until this year. When you don't draft anyone on defense you have to pay for them. You also have 2 1st round WRs and your QB on rookie contracts for next to nothing against the offensive cap for their position and a LT that hasn't been paid his top 5 contract yet. Care to try anything else?
  16. Damn I just realized the psychopath was on here at 2am trying to argue with folks.
  17. People know we are owned by David Tepper. Think it boils down to them/us merely wanting Tepper to not feel there is apathetic or even support for him in the fanbase for him to justifying doing something dumb in the very near future. Simple as that.
  18. It is why they play. But the only consistent measure for predicting, this year, has been the up down. Insane.
  19. I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
  20. I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
  21. Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game. I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year. ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle. Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
  22. The Panthers are so comically inconsistent they could very well defeat the Bucs this Sunday and then lose the final 2 games.
  23. Well I was a Darnold and I think you know what I have thought about Bryce since before we even drafted him. You can’t blanket statement this poo. But my standards start at tools/size. I am lenient when I see potential. Anyone that can watch our team for 8 years and be glad we do not have Darnold because he probably would choke in the SB or the NFCCG has eaten some real sour grapes.
  24. The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone and we have Taylor Moton inked to a recent extension. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
  25. This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
  26. Today
  27. The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year. However next season is already a different story The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
